In addition, it is difficult to automate the processing because a complicated free-form surface is formed, and this poor workability has led to an increase in ship building costs.

As shown in the front sectional view of the hull 1 shown in FIG. 1 (view taken along the line III-III in FIG. 1), the hull center line α (the center in the width direction of the hull 1)
A part of a cylindrical surface, for example, two (one pair) of right and left cylindrical walls 4a and 4b having the same radius, is formed in front of the bow perpendicular to the hull center plane (hull center line α of each height) 1 in the width direction center plane). Specifically, the protruding portion 4 is formed by protruding the radially outer wall portions of the left and right cylindrical walls 4a and 4b forward of the bow so as to intersect with the center plane of the hull. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, the port side cylindrical wall 4a is, for example, an outer wall portion of a cylindrical surface whose center line 7a is a line substantially parallel to the port side curved surface 6a transitioning from the hull parallel portion to the bow perpendicular H. Formed by
The cylindrical wall 4b on the starboard side is formed symmetrically with an outer wall of a cylindrical surface having a center line 7b that is substantially parallel to the curved surface 6b on the starboard that transitions from the hull parallel part to the bow perpendicular H, for example. The radius r of each cylindrical surface is the same. Then, the outer wall portions on the left and right sides are joined (intersecting) to form an outer surface that projects forward in the vertical direction of the bow while gradually narrowing in the width direction toward the front, thereby forming the protrusion 4. In addition,
In FIG. 2, reference numerals 8a and 8b denote bus lines outside the cylinder centered on the respective center lines 7a and 7b, and reference numerals 9a and 9b denote bus lines (virtual) inside the cylinder centered on the center lines 7a and 7b.

As can be seen from this point, if a cross section perpendicular to the center lines 7a and 7b in FIG. 2 (cross section along the line AOB in FIG. 2) is shown in FIG. 4, the left and right cylindrical walls 4a and 4a in FIG.
It will be appreciated from the combination of the outer walls of 4b that it forms most of the outer surface of the bow portion 4.

Instead of a complicated free-form surface as in the related art, a cylindrical surface having a predetermined cross-sectional shape specified in advance, that is, a cylindrical surface having a simple shape can be formed by protruding forward of the bow. That is, the bow portion 4 protruding forward from the bow perpendicular can be manufactured by a simple combination of curved surfaces.

の建造コストの低減が図れる。Therefore, bending and assembling of the work required for manufacturing the protruding portion 4 become easy. In addition, since the processing provides regularity, automation is facilitated, the production of the bow part 4 can be rationally advanced, and the construction cost of the ship can be reduced. In addition, a structure in which a pair of cylindrical surfaces having the same radius protrude from both sides of the bow so as to intersect with the center plane of the hull in front of the bow perpendicular to form the bow 3 makes bending and assembly of the work simpler. Thus, more efficient automation can be promoted, and the manufacture of the bow portion 4 can be proceeded more rationally, and the construction cost of the ship can be further reduced.
