In this state, the hot air generated by the charcoal 8 of the heat source 5 naturally rises and hits the bottom surface of the non-air permeable tray 15 b of the tray member 15 of the lowermost drawer member 14 and bypasses to the side. At the substantially central portion in the vertical and horizontal directions, the hot air naturally rises further upward from the flow passage s formed in the peripheral portion of the tray member 15.

The hot air that has risen from the flow passage s is again blocked because the non-air permeable tray 15b of the tray member 15 in the immediately upper stage blocks a straight (no resistance) rise.
By repeating the operation in which the hot air naturally rises further upward from the flow passage s formed in the peripheral portion of the tray member 15 while hitting the bottom surface of the non-air permeable tray 15b and bypassing to the side, the hot air is It is meandering and flows to the center part and the corners of the side frame 13 in the outer frame 13 and spreads evenly to each tray member 15. Thus, the tray member 15 containing the tea leaves b provided at the uppermost stage is heated. A predetermined drying process is performed by the hot air that has passed through the air holes 18 of the air-permeable tray 15a, the hot air at the outer peripheral portion of the tea leaf layer, and the far-infrared rays emitted from the charcoal 8.

When the temperature inside the tea leaf container 2 is different from the predetermined temperature, that is, when the temperature becomes high, the exhaust adjusting member 19 of the exhaust means 16 provided above the tea leaf container 2 is operated. The temperature is lowered by discharging hot air from the exhaust port 20 provided at the top of the outer frame 13. Further, when the temperature in the tea leaf container 2 becomes low, the supply of charcoal 8 from the supply port 22 provided in the outer frame 13 is performed.

In this way, after a predetermined heating time has elapsed in one stage, the drawer members 14 on which the tray members 15 of the tea leaves b are sequentially placed on the lower shelf receiving members 17 one after another. The drawer member 14 on which the tray member 15 containing the unprocessed tea leaves b is placed is attached to the shelf receiving member 17 at the uppermost stage, and these tea leaves b are transferred from the heat source 5. At the farthest position,
Since the heating is performed in a substantially oxygen-free state, the surface is not burned in a multi-water-containing state, while maintaining the green color of the tea leaves b, from the state of having a water content of 10 to 15% at the beginning of introduction, Water is gradually removed from the center,
Drying proceeds well.

According to the present invention constructed as described above, since the drying proceeds in the step of gradually moving downward from the tea leaves of the drawer member provided at the uppermost stage, the tea leaves are exposed to a high temperature when the water content is high. The discoloration of the appearance is suppressed, and the core water of the tea leaves is removed, and the drying of the core water proceeds smoothly, a good drying state is obtained and the tea leaves of high quality are processed. Is done. Also, since the hot air is naturally sent and exhausted, there is no excessive air interference with the tea leaves, and the upper part of the tea leaf container is formed almost in an oxygen-free state. In addition to suppressing the deterioration of quality in the oxygen state, the flow path of hot air can be efficiently arranged by alternately arranging the tray members in the vertical and horizontal directions for each stage. On the other hand, hot air is uniformly applied to the tea leaves on the entire surface of the tray member, and drying unevenness does not occur. The processing of the processed tea leaves proceeds in a state where the processed tea leaves do not move in the tray member, so that there is no occurrence of a powder state due to the movement during the processing. And so on.
