In the packaging cushioning member as shown in the first embodiment, the rising side wall 5 does not necessarily apply a load to the upper surface 7, so that the strength in the vertical direction does not need to be so high. In the present embodiment, the packaging cushion member is formed by forming the concave and convex portions having the concave and convex portions opposite to each other at the opposing position of the opposing rising side wall 5. The expanded shape of the cushioning member for packaging is, as in a corrugated cardboard sheet 20 shown in FIG. 10, one of the rising side walls 5 constituted by two flaps 21 having a large width and the other constituted by three flaps 22 having a small width. It is a deformed rectangle. Corrugated cardboard sheet 2 of such a developed shape
As shown in FIG. 11, the material is continuously removed without waste by taking the continuous flaps 21 and 22 as the rising side walls 5 alternately with respect to one continuous corrugated cardboard sheet 23 as shown in FIG. The corrugated cardboard sheet 20 can be punched out in a continuous manner.
If the width of 3 is twice as large as that of FIG. 11, four corrugated cardboard sheets 20 can be obtained at one time, and the processing cost is reduced to 1/4 of the conventional one. In addition, the small amount of materials works effectively in recycling. Other functions and advantages are the same as those of the first embodiment. In addition, the receiving surface 17 of the second embodiment may be formed on the cushioning member for packaging of the fourth embodiment.
