多重画像プリントモードの場合は、定着装置（像加熱装置）１００を出た１回目画像プリント済みの被記録材Ｐは、不図示の再循環搬送機構を介して表裏反転されずに再び二次転写部Ｔ２へ送り込まれて１回目画像プリント済みの面に２回目のトナー画像転写を受け、再度、定着装置（像加熱装置）１００に導入されて２回目のトナー画像の定着処理を受けることで多重画像プリントが出力される。
