Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of controlling the drive of an electric fan easily without increasing the weight by detecting the condition of cleaning, the condition of the suction hole touching the floor, and the cleaning movement. SOLUTION: A condition detecting means 28 for detecting the condition of the suction body touching the floor is attached to the suction body of this vacuum cleaner. The suction body is connected to a hand control part of a hose connected to the vacuum cleaner main body 1, in which an electric fan 6 is stored, by way of an extension pipe. A signal transmitting means 39 is connected to the condition detecting means 28, which transmits a prescribed signal by means of a radio medium 38 when detects that the suction body 11 is not touching the floor surface. A circuit base board and a signal receiving means 41 for receiving signals from the signal transmitting means 39 are mounted inside the vacuum cleaner main body 1, and a control means 37 for controlling the drive of the electric fan 6 is mounted on the circuit base board. When the suction body 11 is not in contact with the floor surface because the cleaning operation is suspended, a prescribed signal is transmitted/received by means of the radio medium 38, and the drive of the electric fan 6 is temporarily stopped by the control means 37. Therefore, no transmission line for transmitting the condition of the suction body touching the floor surface is required in the hose nor in the extension pipe, so that the vacuum cleaner can be lightweight and small-sized, can be more easily manufactured and the cleaning operation will be easier.

Here, the state detecting means 28 causes the case body 22 to move the suction port body 11 on the floor surface 25 by the cleaning operation of moving the suction port body 11 on the floor surface 25.
25, the rotating body 29 contacts the floor surface 25 and the case body 22
The rotating member 30 is rotated so as to retreat inward, is in contact with the switch unit 31, and is turned on. And
A signal indicating that the suction port body 11 has landed and is in a cleaning mode is transmitted from the transmission means 39 of the suction port body 11, that is, the suction port body 11
Does not transmit a predetermined signal indicating that it is separated from the floor surface 25 and is not in the landing state. For this reason, the control means 37 determines that the receiving means 41 has not received a signal from the transmitting means 39 indicating that the suction port body 11 has not landed, and sets the electric blower 6 to the setting operation of the operating means 42 described above. (Step 4), and the process returns to Step 1.

On the other hand, in step 1, a current value exceeding a predetermined threshold value due to operation of the predetermined button 16, 17, 18 of the operating means 42 is not detected, that is, a current value exceeding the predetermined threshold value is not detected. If not, it is determined whether or not a current value of a predetermined threshold value due to the operation of the stop button 15 of the operation means 42 has been detected (step 6). When the control means 37 determines that the current value of the predetermined threshold value by the operation of the stop button 15 has been detected, the driving of the electric blower 6 is completely stopped (step 7), that is, the operation means 42 again. Unless an operation to drive the electric blower 6 is performed by the setting operation of the electric blower 6,
Stops in a non-driving state. Also, in step 6,
When the control means 37 determines that the current value of the predetermined threshold value due to the operation of the stop button 15 is not detected, it is determined whether the electric blower 6 is driven or is in a pause state (step 8). . If the electric blower 6 is driven or temporarily stopped, the process proceeds to step 3, and if it is determined that the electric blower 6 is not driven or temporarily stopped, that is, it is completely stopped, for example, noise or the like It is determined that an abnormal current has occurred, and the process returns to step 1.
