Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly exhaust gas or the air in a die cavity by providing a degassing member having gas permeability near a recess side of a product of a runner, and communicating the member with an exterior of the die. SOLUTION: A runner 2, a gate 3 and a product recess 4 corresponding to an outer surface of a lower half of a product are recessed on an upper surface of fixed side outer die 1. The runner 2 is a runner of a molten resin cast through a nozzle from an injection molding machine, and formed in a semicircular sectional shape. A degassing member 5 having gas permeability is provided at each position disposed at the recess 4 side of the runner 2. The member 5 is made of a stainless steel and formed of a sintered short columnar body fixed to interior of a severe short cylinder. Here, the sintered short columnar body has many fine vent holes in an axial central direction of the short cylinder. The member 5 is installed to communicate with an exterior of the mold at a lower side of the die 1. Thus, gas generated when molded or the air can be exhausted out of the mold.
