2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, fish meal, raw fish, soybean meal, pupa, and the like have been used as feed for fish farming in the form of powder or paste. However, in recent years, the catches of fish for feed such as sardines have decreased, and the cost of these conventional fish feeds has risen accordingly. Further, these conventional fish farm feeds are inferior in handling properties, and particularly difficult to automatically feed. In addition, the above-mentioned conventional feed for fish farming is not balanced with various nutrient components, and cannot be said to be sufficiently satisfactory also in terms of fish feeding ability. Therefore, for the purpose of improving handleability, improving the balance of various nutrients, improving feed efficiency by improving feedability, and reducing costs, oil and fats, flour, etc. are used for protein raw materials such as fish meal, raw fish, and soybean meal. ,
In recent years, solid feed for fish farming, in which other components such as starch, amino acids, sugar, vitamins, and minerals are blended, formed into pellets, and dried, has been widely used in recent years.

However, the pellet-type solid feed for fish farming described above is hard and cannot be said to be sufficiently satisfactory in terms of the taste and digestibility of fish and shellfish. Very low intake rate. In order to improve feedability, it has been practiced to administer fish feed solid feed beforehand by immersing it in water and softening it.However, since it is not possible to directly administer fish feed solid feed as it is, an immersion step is required. At present, it takes time and effort to feed, and at the present time, the effect of improving the feeding rate is not sufficient. It has also been proposed to directly produce solid feed for fish farming with a high water content for the purpose of improving feedability, but even in this case, the intake rate by fish cannot be said to be sufficiently good. There is a need for a solid feed for fish farming that has excellent baitability.

Further, conventional solid feed for fish farming having a high water content is inferior in shape retention, easily deformed, disintegrated, agglomerated, etc., and is initially soft. It is easy to be lost and hard, and from this point,
There has been a demand for a polyhydrated solid feed for fish farming that is excellent in shape retention even when the water content is high and can maintain the softness for a long time.

[0005] Further, since solid feed for fish farming generally contains oils and fats, oozing and release of oils and burning of oil (denaturation of oils and fats) are liable to occur. In addition, protein contained in feed,
Excessive coloring of products due to amino acids, sugars, etc. is likely to occur,
Furthermore, there was a problem that the storage stability was poor, and mold and putrid odor were easily generated. In order to avoid the above-mentioned problems, it is necessary to set the temperature and pressure conditions during the production of the solid feed for fish farming to a specific range, and to distribute and store the solid feed for fish farming at a low temperature, and there were various restrictions. . In addition, oozing and release of oil generated in fish feed solid feed cause contamination of the water environment to which the feed is administered, and oil burning and excessive coloring reduce the nutritional value and commercial value of fish feed solid feed. Is the cause.

Further, in order to improve the productivity by improving the processability in the production of solid feed for fish farming, it is necessary to easily form the pellets while keeping the load on the extruder low. However, the conventional pellet-type solid feed for fish farming described above cannot be said to have sufficiently good formability at the time of feed production, and improvements have been required.

The reasons why the above-mentioned various excellent effects are exhibited when the solid feed for fish culture of the present invention contains a sugar alcohol are not clear, but are considered as follows.
That is, a large number of hydroxyl groups in the sugar alcohol increase water retention and moisture retention, which keeps the solid feed for fish farming in a soft state and contributes to the improvement of the feeding and digestion and absorption of fish by the sugar alcohol. Water retention mentioned above
It is considered that the moisturizing action and the binder effect prevent evaporation of water from the solid feed for fish farming, maintain a soft state for a long time, and prevent deformation, collapse and aggregation despite the softness. On the other hand, the addition of sugar alcohol imparts a moisture-absorbing inhibitory effect to the solid feed for fish farming (giving a barrier property to the external environment), and does not cause swelling of the solid feed for fish farming even when left in a humid atmosphere. In addition, it is considered that the sweetness of the sugar alcohol also contributes to the improvement of the feedability. In addition, sugar alcohols have the effect of confining fats and oils in fish feed solid feed, which prevents oozing and release of oil and oil scorching, and the disinfecting and disinfecting effects of sugar alcohol on mold feed for fish culture solid feed. It is considered that the generation and decay of the sugar alcohol are prevented, and the melting property and water retention of the sugar alcohol contribute to the reduction of the viscosity of the feed material, thereby contributing to the improvement of the processability into pellets and the like.

[0015] The content of sugar alcohol in the solid feed for fish farming is from 0.1 to 0.1 based on the total weight of the solid feed for fish farming.
It is necessary to be 5% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 4% by weight. When the content of the sugar alcohol is less than 0.1% by weight, it is difficult to improve the molding processability when producing solid feed for fish farming such as pellets, and the shape retention and moisture retention of the solid feed for fish farming are difficult to obtain. , The moisture absorption inhibiting property decreases,
Deformation, disintegration, drying and the like are likely to occur, preventing oil oozing and release, preventing oil scorching, preventing the generation of mold and putrid odor, and furthermore, the effect of the present invention such as the feed surface is not smoothed Can not be obtained. On the other hand, when the content of the sugar alcohol exceeds 5% by weight, the digestibility of the solid feed for fish farming is reduced, the feed efficiency is reduced, and the cost is increased. Moreover, even if the content of the sugar alcohol exceeds 5% by weight, the moldability is improved, the shape retention, the moisture retention, the surface is smoothed, the oozing and release of oils and fats are prevented, the oil scorch is prevented, and mold and decay are prevented. The effect on prevention of odor generation does not improve further.

Further, the solid feed for fish farming of the present invention has a water content of more than 10% by weight and not more than 45% by weight, preferably 15 to 35% by weight, based on the total weight of the solid feed for fish farming. . When the water content of the solid feed for fish farming is more than 10% by weight and not more than 45% by weight, the viscosity of the feed raw material mixture is reduced, and the formability of the solid feed for fish farming having a shape such as pellets is reduced. It will be even better. In addition, when the water content is as described above, the obtained solid feed for fish farming becomes softer, so that the feedability and digestive absorption by fish are further improved, and despite that, distribution, storage, administration and the like No deformation, disintegration, or coagulation of the solid feed occurs, the original shape is kept well, and the handling is excellent. When the water content of the solid feed for fish farming exceeds 45% by weight, stickiness, crushing, aggregation of the solid feed for fish farming and the like are liable to occur, and the handleability tends to be reduced.

From the results shown in Table 2 above, Examples 1 and 2 containing sorbitol as a sugar alcohol in the range of 0.1 to 5% by weight and having a water content of more than 10% by weight and 45% by weight or less. It can be understood that the solid feed for fish farming of Example 2 has a smaller load on the extruder at the time of pellet production and is excellent in the formability at the time of feed manufacturing as compared with the solid feed for fish farming of Comparative Example 1 containing no sorbitol. Furthermore, the solid feed for fish farming of Examples 1 and 2 has a higher water retention rate and lower hardness than the solid feed for fish farming of Comparative Example 1, and as a result, it is understood that the feedability by fish is excellent. Example 1
And the fish feed solid feed of Comparative Example 1, which does not contain sorbitol, has no oil seepage and oil burning and has excellent surface smoothness and high quality. It can be seen that there is bleeding and oil burning, and that the surface is rusted and rusted, and the quality is inferior to those of Examples 1 and 2.
