上記圧力室の長手方向と垂直な面に備えた、ノズルを設けて固着したノズル板と、
上記圧力室の長手方向と垂直な面であって、上記ノズル板を設けたと反対側に備えた、穴からインクを供給する流路板とから構成されるインクジェットプリンタのヘッドにおいて、
上記圧力室の側面に設けた上記圧電素子の上記ノズル板と当接する面に溝を設け、圧電素子による変位の伝導を遮断したことを特徴とするインクジェットプリンタのヘッド。
【請求項2】
上記圧電素子が積層圧電素子であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のインクジェットプリンタのヘッド。
【請求項3】
上記積層圧電素子の上記ノズル板側の部分に当該積層圧電素子の一部または全部を切断するように上記溝を設けたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のインクジェットプリンタのヘッド。
【請求項4】
圧力室の側面に設けて当該圧力室を圧縮する圧電素子あるいは積層圧電素子と、
上記圧力室の長い方向に、ノズルを設けて固着したノズル板と、
上記圧力室の長い方向であって、上記ノズル板を設けたと反対側に設けて小さな穴からインクを供給する流路板とから構成されるインクジェットプリンタのヘッド製造方法において、
上記圧力室の側面に設けた上記圧電素子あるいは上記積層圧電素子の上記ノズル板側の部分に設けた、上記圧電素子あるいは上記積層圧電素子の変位の振動遮断部を、切削手段によって形成することを特徴とするインクジェットプリンタのヘッド製造方法。
