PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save fuel and to suppress air pollution by providing a seat-leaving detection sensor for detecting that a driver leaves the seat and generating a signal within a driver's seat, and stopping an engine after the lapse of a prescribed time when the seat-leaving detection signal is generated. SOLUTION: A seat-leaving detecting sensor 2 is built in a driver' s seat 1 to output a seat-leaving signal when a driver leaves the driver's seat 1. A reclining sensor 3 is built in a seat back 1a to generate a detection signal when the seat back 1a is tilted backward for resting.
