Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier which prevents leakage of water from a between a steam lead-out tube and a heating water tank and thereby enhances waterproofness. SOLUTION: In a humidifier 10 equipped with a heating water tank 60 evaporating water W by heating, a feed water tank supplying the water W to this heating water tank 60 and a steam lead-out tube 20 fitted to the upper side of the heating water tank 60 and so designed as to lead steam S to an outlet 58 at a prescribed position, a waterproofing packing 30 is fitted to a gap between the heating water tank 60 and the steam lead-out tube 20. In this constitution, the packing is formed to have a section almost shaped like a letter J, U or S partially or wholly. Thereby joining properties of the heating water tank 60 with the steam lead-out tube 20 is made excellent and the waterproofness of the humidifier 10 is further improved.

The basic operation of the conventional heating type humidifier 50 having the above configuration will be described. First, when a user injects a desired amount of water into the water supply tank 70 and mounts the water supply tank at a predetermined position on the main body storage container 52, the push-up boss 82 provided in the water receiving tank 80 allows the water supply tank 70 to be filled with water, as described above. The water stop valve 72 of the cap 78 is pushed up, and the water W is
0 and the heated water tank 60 communicating with the water receiving tank 80. When the water surface reaches the water inlet of the cap 78, air stops flowing into the water supply tank 70, the air A in the water supply tank 70 is reduced in pressure, the supply of water W is stopped, and the water surface is constantly maintained at the set position. It is designed to drip.

According to the present invention, in order to solve the above problems, in the humidifier according to the first aspect, a heating water tank for heating and evaporating water and supplying water to the heating water tank. In a humidifier provided with a water supply tank and a steam outlet tube attached above the heating water tank and configured to guide steam to an outlet at a predetermined position, a humidifier for waterproofing a gap between the heating water tank and the steam outlet tube. It was configured to attach packing. With this configuration, it is possible to prevent water droplets from leaking from the heating water tank by the waterproof packing, and to prevent water from leaking into the gap between the steam outlet tube and the heating water tank. Since the expansion of the gap can be prevented, a humidifier with improved waterproofness can be obtained.

At this time, as shown in FIG.
Is mounted on the bottom surface of the steam outlet tube 20, and the steam outlet tube 20 is installed above the heating water tank 60 with the packing 30 attached, so that water boils in the heating water tank 60 and water droplets scatter. Even in this state, the packing 30 can prevent water from leaking from the gap between the steam outlet tube 20 and the heating water tank 60 and prevent water from entering the gap. Therefore, the interval due to the precipitation of mineral salts in this gap increases,
The situation where the waterproofness of the humidifier 10 is reduced can be prevented. As shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B, a part of the packing 30 has a substantially J-shaped or substantially S-shaped cross section.
Because of the letter shape, the tightness between the packing 30, the steam outlet tube 20, and the heating water tank 60 is improved, so that the waterproof effect is further improved.

The humidifier of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various changes can be made. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the packing has a rectangular shape in a plan view, and a cross-sectional shape has been described as having a substantially J-shaped or S-shaped cross-section in some places. It may be changed correspondingly. Further, even if a steam outlet tube or a heated water tank having a shape different from that of the steam outlet tube or the heated water tank described in the above embodiment is used, it is needless to say that the steam outlet tube or the heated water tank is included in the humidifier of the present invention.
