Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for a rain ater storage tank capable of supplying lear rain water by removing dust, etc., to the storage tank and having no need of maintenance because dust, etc., are not accumulated inside the device or the storage tank. SOLUTION: A water receiving container 3 having a diameter smaller than a cylinder body 2 is provided to the inside of the cylinder body 2 having a water conduit pipe joint opening 2a on the upper end, a dustproof filter 4 having an inclined upper surface 4a is mounted to the upper end opening of the water receiving container 3 and, at the same time, an intake device 1 is constituted by connecting a water supply pipe 5 to the rain water storage tank to the lower part of the water receiving container 3. By the constitution, part of rain water flowing down from a water conduit pipe 6a connected to the water conduit pipe joint opening 2a flows into the water receiving container 3 from the inclined upper surface 4a of the filter 4, it is supplyed to a water storage tank trough the water supply pipe 5, and since dust, etc., contained in rain water separated at the upper surface 4a of the filter 4 smoothly flows down along the inclined upper surface 4a of the filter together with rain water flowing down without permeating the filter 4, dust, etc., are not adhered and accumulated on the upper surface 4a of the filter.

2. Description of the Related Art In an urbanized area where there are few unpaved roads and vacant spaces, rainwater falling on houses, parking lots, roads, etc. flows into rivers and the like through gutters without penetrating into the ground. A large amount of rainwater concentrates on rivers, and exceeds the capacity of rivers in a short time, causing so-called urban flooding. On the other hand, in the dry season, the water level of dams and lakes decreases, resulting in water shortages.

[0003] Under these circumstances, large and small rainwater storage tanks for temporarily storing rainwater for effective use have been developed and installed at eaves and verandas, etc., in order to prevent flooding of rivers and create a livable environment. Have been commercialized. Such a small-scale rainwater storage tank is configured to take in rainwater from a water intake device attached in the middle of a deep gutter, and a water intake device having a structure as shown in FIG. Kaihei 7-10169).

[0009] When a hard gutter, for example, is connected as a water pipe to the water pipe connection port of the cylindrical body of such a water intake device, part of the rainwater flowing down the hard gutter during rainfall passes through the dust filter inside the cylindrical body. The remaining rainwater spills from the dust filter and flows down through the gap between the water receiving container and the cylindrical body and is drained. When a part of the rainwater passes through the dust filter in this way, solids such as dust contained in the rainwater are removed, and clean rainwater flows into the receiving vessel, and is sent to the rainwater storage tank through the water pipe. The problem that objects accumulate in the receiving vessel, clog the water pipe, or accumulate in the rainwater storage tank is solved at once. The solid matter separated from the rainwater on the upper surface of the dust filter is easily dropped down together with the rainwater that does not pass through the filter because the upper surface of the filter is inclined, and does not accumulate on the upper surface of the filter. Therefore, there is no need to clean the inside of the water intake device or clean the rainwater storage tank in order to remove solids such as dust, so no troublesome maintenance is required, and clean rainwater stored in the rainwater storage tank is eliminated. It can be used effectively. Also, since this water intake device has a simple structure and can be manufactured at low cost,
There are also economic benefits.

The dust filter 4 attached to the upper end opening of the water receiving container 3 is composed of a ring 4a and a net 4b, and is detached by fitting the ring 4a into the upper end opening of the water receiving container 3. Therefore, this dust filter 4

As the mesh 4b, a mesh having a fine mesh of about 20 to 120 mesh is preferable. If a mesh having a mesh size larger than 20 mesh is used, it is difficult to separate and remove small solids contained in rainwater, and the mesh size is smaller than 120 mesh. When a net is used, it is difficult to take in a sufficient amount of rainwater because the amount of water permeation decreases. It should be noted that a net having a coarser mesh than the above may be stacked in two or three layers and adhered so as to have a fineness of about 50 to 100 mesh as a whole.

It is preferable that the inclination angle of the upper surface (net body 4b) of the filter 4 is set to 20 to 60 °, and if the inclination angle is smaller than 20 °, the solid matter separated from the rainwater on the upper surface of the filter 4 However, it is difficult to smoothly flow down along with the rainwater that does not pass through the filter 4, and there is a risk that the rainwater adheres and accumulates on the upper surface of the filter 4.
On the other hand, when the inclination angle is larger than 60 °, most of the rainwater flowing down from the deep gutter 6a bounces laterally on the upper surface of the filter 4, and it becomes difficult for the rainwater to pass through the filter 4, so that a sufficient amount of rainwater is taken in. Becomes difficult.

In the rainwater storage tank intake device 1 having the above-described structure, as described above, the cut upper hard gutter 6a is inserted into the water pipe connection port 2a at the upper end of the cylindrical body 2 and is connected thereto. By connecting the hard gutter 6b to the drain pipe connection port 2b at the lower end of the cylindrical body 2, the gutter 6 is attached in the middle of the hard gutter 6 as shown in FIG.

When the water intake device 1 is attached in this way, the roof 10 passes through the eaves gutter 11 and the call gutter 12 during rainfall, and the hard gutter 6
Part of the rainwater flowing down (the upper hard gutter 6a) passes through the trash filter 4 and flows into the water receiving container 3, and the remaining rainwater spills out of the trash filter 4 to receive the water.
Then, the water flows down the lower hard gutter 6b through the gap 7 between the cylinder body 2 and the water. When a part of the rainwater passes through the dust filter 4 as described above, solids such as dust contained in the rainwater are removed, and clean rainwater flows into the water receiving container 3 and the water pipe 5
The solid matter is sent to the rainwater storage tank 9 through the tank, so that there is no need to worry about solids accumulating in the water receiving container 3, clogging the water pipe 5, and collecting in the rainwater storage tank 9. The solid matter separated from the rainwater on the upper surface (net 4b) of the dust removal filter 4 has the upper surface (net 4b) of the filter 4 in the range of 20 to 60.
°, it easily flows down with the rainwater that does not pass through the filter 4 and flows down, and is discharged from the lower hard gutter 6 b through the gap 7. 4b) is not deposited. Therefore, there is no need to clean the inside of the water intake device 1 or to clean the rainwater storage tank 9 to remove solids.
No troublesome maintenance is required, and the clean rainwater stored in the rainwater storage tank 9 can be effectively used as, for example, water for plant irrigation or water for car washing.

In the water intake device 1 of this embodiment, the filter 4 with the net 4b attached to the obliquely cut upper end opening of the ring 4a is used as the dust filter 4, but is not limited thereto. Instead, for example, a dust-removing filter made of open-celled body (sponge or the like) having good permeability and having an inclined upper surface, or a woven cloth or a nonwoven cloth with a coarse texture is attached to the obliquely cut upper end opening of the ring body 4a. A worn dust filter or the like may be used.

In this embodiment, the water receiving container 3 to which the dust filter 4 is attached is provided concentrically below the water pipe connection port 2a, but the water receiving container 3 to which the filter 4 is attached is provided. The position of the container 3 may be eccentric to the side (right side in FIG. 2) opposite to the direction in which the rainwater or solids flow down along the inclined upper surface 4a of the filter 4. Gap 7 on the side where the flow falls
This has the advantage that rainwater and solid matter flow down and drain through the gap 7 more smoothly.
