絶縁被覆付丸形導線の長さ方向に所定の間隔をおいて該導線の絶縁被覆を所定長だけ除去しつつ、該丸形導線を圧延処理に送り、
該絶縁被覆付丸形導線を圧延処理して絶縁被覆付平形導線にしつつ、該平形導線をコイルの形態に巻取ることからなる平形導線の巻線コイルの製造方法。

前記絶縁被覆の前記除去が、絶縁被覆付丸形導線のまわりでカッタアームを回転させて該カッタアームの先端側のカッタを絶縁被覆付丸形導線の絶縁被覆に切り込ませることを含む請求項1に記載のコイルの製造方法。

請求項1又は2の方法により製造された平形導線の巻線コイル。

コイルの導線が曲率の異なる部分を有する請求項3に記載の巻線コイル。

絶縁被覆付丸形導線を圧延処理して平形導線にする圧延装置と、
導線の送り方向に関して圧延装置の上流側に配置され、絶縁被覆付丸形導線の長さ方向に所定の間隔をおいて該導線の絶縁被覆を所定長だけ除去する絶縁被覆除去装置と、
導線の送り方向に関して圧延装置の下流側に設けられており、圧延装置から送出された平形導線をコイルの形態に巻取る巻取機とを有する平形導線の巻線コイルの製造装置。

圧延装置と巻取装置との間に、圧延装置出口と巻取機入口とにおける平形導線の送り速度の差異を吸収するバッファ装置を有する請求項5に記載のコイルの製造装置。
