Description
The present invention relates to a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus for a rectangular wire coil used in a rotating electrical machine for a vehicle.
In recent years, a rotating electrical machine for a vehicle used as an electric motor or a generator is required to be downsized and output in order to cope with global environmental problems. Therefore, there is a tendency that a rectangular wire having a high space factor and allowing a large amount of current to flow is used for the coil. The coil wound with the flat wire is roughly classified into distributed winding and concentrated winding. The concentrated winding coil is manufactured by connecting a plurality of rectangular wire coils each having a coiled winding portion and a terminal portion.
However, since the terminal portion of the rectangular wire coil has an insulating film covering the side surfaces (long side surface and short side surface), it is necessary to peel off the insulating film covering the side surface of the terminal portion before connecting as a coil. There is.
Patent Document 1 discloses a wire film peeling apparatus and a peeling method for efficiently peeling off the flat wire insulation film.
In the technique of Patent Document 1, a pair of cutting tools are provided facing the opposing long side surfaces of a rectangular wire, and after cutting in two desired locations in the linear direction of the rectangular wire, In this technique, the insulating film covering the long side surface is peeled off by relatively moving from the notch to the other notch. According to this technique, since the insulating films on the long side surfaces of the rectangular wires facing each other are peeled simultaneously, there is an advantage that the insulating film can be peeled efficiently.
However, since the technique of Patent Document 1 includes a wire support mechanism, a notch imparting mechanism, and a cutter relative movement mechanism, and is a technique of cutting in the linear direction (longitudinal direction) of a rectangular wire, Although it can be applied to a rectangular wire having a linear length of a certain length or more, it is difficult to apply it to a terminal portion of a rectangular coil having a short linear length after coil forming. Moreover, the length of the long side and short side which comprise the rectangular cross section of a flat wire is about 2-8 mm, and the rigidity in the line direction of a flat wire is little. For example, if a rectangular wire with a rectangular cross section of 2 mm × 3 mm is cantilevered and a load of 10 Newton is applied in a short side direction to a cutting point that is about 5 mm away from the fulcrum, it will bend about 0.2 to 0.3 mm.
Therefore, in the method of moving the cutter in the direction of the flat wire, the bending moment due to the cutting load increases as the distance from the fulcrum increases. When this bending moment increases, the amount of bending increases on the tip side of the terminal portion, and the amount of peeling of the insulating film decreases. When the amount of peeling of the insulating film decreases and the insulating film partially remains, there is a problem that the electrical resistance when connected is increased.
On the other hand, if the amount of peeling of the insulating film on the base side of the terminal portion is increased in order to set the amount of peeling of the insulating film on the distal end side of the terminal portion to a predetermined value, the copper volume necessary for bonding strength cannot be secured in the terminal portion. In particular, there is a problem that durability against running vibration or the like is lowered.
Therefore, it is necessary to stabilize the peeling amount of the insulating film at the terminal portion to a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side.
Further, the rectangular wire coil is formed through a winding process for winding the rectangular wire into a coil shape and a forming process for forming the wound coil into a predetermined shape, and a plurality of the formed rectangular wire coils are collected. It is manufactured as a concentrated winding coil in the assembly process. Then, it is necessary to peel off the insulating film on the terminal portion of the rectangular wire coil during the period from the forming step of the rectangular wire coil to the assembly step of forming the concentrated winding coil.
In this production process, for example, if the flat wire coil is gripped by the conveyor and transferred from the molding process to the assembly process or the intermediate stage, the insulating film on the terminal portion of the flat wire coil can be peeled off. Production of flat wire coils can be automated without human intervention.
However, in order to peel off the insulating film within the conveyance time, it is necessary to shorten the time required for peeling off the insulating film as much as possible.
The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances as described above. The purpose of the present invention is to separate the insulating film at the terminal portion from the root side to the tip side when the insulating film at the terminal portion of the rectangular wire coil is peeled off. Can be secured to a predetermined value until the required copper volume is secured for bonding strength, and the insulation film peeling time can be shortened, which can contribute to the automation of the production of rectangular coils. It is to provide a method and a manufacturing apparatus.

The method for manufacturing a rectangular wire coil of the present invention having such characteristics has the following effects.
In the invention of (1), when the terminal portion is supported by the transporter and passes through the cutting device in the long side direction or short side direction of the terminal portion, the cutting tool of the cutting device is the long side surface or short side surface of the terminal portion. Since the insulating film coated on the surface is peeled off, the amount of the insulating film peeled off at the terminal portion can be stabilized to a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side, and the copper volume necessary for bonding strength can be ensured.
Specifically, since the insulation film of the terminal part is peeled in the long side direction or the short side direction after the transporter supports the base side of the terminal part, the cutting load accompanying the peeling acts in parallel with the insulation film. It hardly acts in the direction perpendicular to the insulating film to be peeled off. Therefore, the bending moment accompanying peeling acts in the horizontal direction with the insulating film to be peeled off, and hardly acts in the direction perpendicular to the insulating film to be peeled off. As a result, when the insulating film is peeled off at the terminal portion of the rectangular wire coil, there is almost no vertical deflection of the insulating film to be peeled from the base side to the tip side of the terminal portion.
Therefore, the amount of peeling of the insulating film at the terminal portion can be stabilized to a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side, and the copper volume necessary for bonding strength can be ensured.
In the conventional technology in which the insulation film is peeled by cutting in the direction of the flat wire, for example, in the case of a rectangular wire having a rectangular cross section of about 2 mm × 3 mm, there is a difference in the cutting allowance associated with the peeling of the insulation film at the base and tip of the terminal portion. However, according to the present invention, it can be reduced to within 0.2 mm.
Further, the length in the long side direction or the short side direction of the terminal part from which the insulating film is peeled (usually about 2 to 8 mm) is the length in the line direction of the terminal part from which the insulating film is peeled (usually about 10 to 15 mm). ) Is shorter compared to), and the peeling time is also shorter.
Therefore, by removing the insulating film coated on the long side surface or short side surface of the terminal part by the cutting tool, the amount of the insulating film peeled at the terminal part is stabilized to a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side, The copper volume necessary for the bonding strength can be ensured and the insulating film peeling time can be shortened.
In the invention of (1), since the insulating film on the terminal part is peeled off while the conveyor is transporting the rectangular wire coil, the insulating film can be peeled off in a short time without any manual work. This can contribute to the automation of flat wire coil manufacturing. Further, it is not necessary to provide a new coil transfer facility for the insulating film peeling work.
Therefore, when peeling the insulation film at the terminal part of the rectangular wire coil, the amount of insulation film peeling at the terminal part can be stabilized to a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side, and the necessary copper volume can be secured for the bonding strength. In addition, it is possible to provide a method of manufacturing a rectangular wire coil that can shorten the peeling time of the insulating film and contribute to the automation of the manufacturing of the rectangular wire coil.
The invention described in (2) is the rectangular wire coil manufacturing method described in (1). Since the cutting tool is an outer peripheral blade of an end mill, the cutting load accompanying peeling of the insulating film is small, and the rectangular wire coil When the insulating film is peeled off at the terminal portion, the amount of peeling of the insulating film at the terminal portion is stabilized by a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side, so that a copper volume necessary for bonding strength can be further secured.
Specifically, the end mill has a configuration in which a chip discharging groove is formed along the outer peripheral blade. In general, the chip discharge groove is given a twist angle with respect to the rotation axis of the tool body in order to suppress a sudden biting of the outer peripheral blade to the work material. Therefore, when the workpiece is cut by moving the end mill in the direction orthogonal to the rotation axis, the cutting point cut by the outer peripheral edge is shifted along the twist angle. As a result, when the insulating film is peeled off by the outer peripheral blade of the end mill, the cutting load accompanying the peeling is smaller than that of other cutting tools, and the position of the terminal portion of the rectangular wire coil is further stabilized.
Therefore, when peeling off the insulating film at the terminal portion of the rectangular wire coil, the amount of peeling of the insulating film at the terminal portion can be stabilized by a predetermined value from the root side to the tip side, and the necessary copper volume can be secured for the bonding strength. .
The invention described in (3) is the manufacturing method of the rectangular wire coil described in (2), wherein the cutting device is opposed to a surface that peels off the insulating film among the long side surface or the short side surface of the terminal portion. Since the surface to be guided is guided, deformation of the terminal portion can be reliably prevented. As a result, the peeling amount of the insulating film at the terminal portion is further stabilized by a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side, and the copper volume necessary for the bonding strength can be further ensured.
(4) In the method for manufacturing a rectangular wire coil described in (2) or (3), the end mill is a pair of end mills supported in parallel, and the long side surface or the short side surface of the terminal portion is the end mill. Since it passes between the outer peripheral blades, the insulating film coated on the long side surface or the short side surface of the terminal portion can be peeled simultaneously or continuously. Therefore, the cutting time and the conveyance time required for peeling off the insulating film can be shortened.
Therefore, the peeling time of the insulating film can be further shortened, and further contribution can be made by the automation of the production of the rectangular wire coil.
(5) In the method of manufacturing a rectangular wire coil described in any one of (1) to (4), when the insulating film is peeled, the cutting load of the cutting tool is detected and the cutting allowance is adjusted. Even if a positional deviation occurs in the transfer machine, the amount of the insulation film peeled off at the terminal portion can be stabilized to a predetermined value from the base side to the tip side, and the copper volume necessary for the bonding strength can be ensured. Therefore, since the insulating film can be peeled off using a general-purpose transporter in which a positional deviation is likely to occur, it is possible to further contribute to automation of rectangular wire coil manufacturing.
(6) In the method for manufacturing a rectangular wire coil described in any one of (1) to (5), the cutting device includes a clamp unit that moves in the coil conveyance direction in synchronization with the conveyance machine, and performs cutting. When the tool peels off the insulation film, the clamping part of the clamp unit holds the surface perpendicular to the peeling surface of the terminal part, so that the insulation film is not deformed in the coil conveyance direction. Can be peeled off.
Specifically, when the cutting tool peels off the insulating film, the clamping unit's holding portion holds the surface orthogonal to the terminal portion peeling surface, so that the cutting acts in the direction perpendicular to the terminal portion peeling surface. The holding portion of the clamp unit can receive the load. Further, since the clamp unit moves in the coil conveyance direction in synchronization with the conveyance machine, the relative position between the clamping unit of the clamp unit and the coil does not change. Therefore, the cutting load can be received by the holding portion of the clamp unit whose relative position with the coil does not change. Therefore, for example, the peeling speed of the insulating film can be improved by increasing the transport speed of the transport machine. Moreover, even if the conveyance speed of a conveyance machine is increased, the peeling dimension of an insulating film can be stabilized, without a coil wire deform | transforming in a coil conveyance direction.
Therefore, the insulating film peeling time can be further shortened while maintaining the insulating film peeling accuracy, which can further contribute to the automation of the production of the rectangular wire coil.
(7) In the method for manufacturing a rectangular wire coil described in (6), the clamp unit includes an engagement unit that engages with the transport device when moving in synchronization with the transport device, and the cutting device includes: It has an original position return cylinder that returns the clamp unit to the original position when it moves forward, and the original position return cylinder buffers the cutting load of the cutting tool while moving backward, so the conveying device itself is changed. It is possible to prevent the cutting tool from biting.
Specifically, since the clamp unit is provided with an engaging means that engages with the conveyor when moving in synchronization with the conveyor, the cutting load when the cutting tool peels off the insulating film is the clamping portion of the clamp unit. However, the cutting load is transmitted to the conveyor through the engaging means. At this time, when the cutting load exceeds the driving force of the transfer machine in the coil transfer direction, the moving speed of the transfer machine affected by the cutting load changes, and the apparent feed speed of the cutting tool changes. Therefore, the biting phenomenon that the cutting edge of the cutting tool bites deeply into the flat wire as the work material is likely to occur. However, in the present invention, since the cylinder for returning to the original position absorbs the cutting load of the cutting tool while retreating, the moving speed of the transfer machine can be held substantially uniformly, and fluctuations in the apparent feed speed of the cutting tool are suppressed. be able to. Therefore, even when the cutting load exceeds the driving force of the conveyor, the original position return cylinder exhibits a damper function without changing the conveyor itself, and the biting of the cutting tool can be prevented. The damper function of the original position return cylinder can be adjusted by an exhaust speed controller.
Therefore, using a general-purpose transporter, it is possible to further shorten the insulating film peeling time while maintaining the insulating film peeling accuracy, and to further contribute to the automation of the rectangular wire coil manufacturing.
The stator manufacturing apparatus of the present invention having such characteristics has the following operational effects.
(8) In a flat wire coil manufacturing apparatus including a winding portion that winds a flat wire into a coil shape and a terminal portion that protrudes outward from the winding portion, a transport device that transports the flat wire coil, and a transport device Cutting device provided in the middle of conveying the rectangular coil, and when the terminal portion is supported by the conveyor and passes through the cutting device in the long side direction or the short side direction of the terminal unit, the cutting tool of the cutting device is Since the insulating film coated on the long side surface or the short side surface of the terminal part is peeled off, when peeling off the insulating film on the terminal part of the flat wire coil, the insulating film peels off from the base side to the tip side of the terminal part. The amount of vertical deflection hardly occurs. The length in the long side direction or the short side direction (usually about 2 to 8 mm) of the terminal part from which the insulating film is peeled is the length in the line direction (usually about 10 to 15 mm) of the terminal part from which the insulating film is peeled off. Since it is relatively short, the peeling time is also short. In addition, since the insulation film on the terminal part is peeled off during the conveyance of the rectangular wire coil, the insulation film can be peeled off in a short time without any manual work. Can contribute.
Further, it is possible to provide an apparatus for manufacturing a rectangular wire coil that can shorten the peeling time of the insulating film and contribute to the automation of manufacturing the rectangular wire coil.
(9) In the flat wire coil manufacturing apparatus described in (8), the cutting device includes a clamp unit that moves in the coil transport direction in synchronization with the transporter, and a clamp unit that returns to its original position when it moves forward. The clamping unit includes an engagement means that engages with the conveyor when moving in synchronization with the conveyor, and a separation surface of the terminal portion when the cutting tool peels the insulating film. And a holding unit for buffering the cutting load of the cutting tool while retreating, the general-purpose transporter is provided. By using this, it is possible to further shorten the time for peeling the insulating film while maintaining the peeling accuracy of the insulating film, and to contribute further to the automation of the production of the rectangular wire coil.
Next, embodiments of a method for manufacturing a rectangular wire coil and a manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
Here, after explaining the peeling mechanism and the basic structure of the cutting tool for peeling off the insulating film coated on the terminal portion of the rectangular wire coil according to the present invention, the embodiment applying the peeling mechanism and the cutting tool will be described in detail. explain.
<Insulation film peeling mechanism>
First, the cutting tool used for peeling of the rectangular wire coil and insulating film which concerns on this invention is demonstrated. FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a rectangular wire coil, and FIG. 2 shows a side view of an end mill used as a cutting tool.
As shown in FIG. 1, the flat wire coil 1 is made of a single flat wire having a rectangular cross section, and a winding

In this embodiment, the rectangular cross section of the rectangular wire is about 2 mm × 3 mm, and the film thickness of the insulating film is about 30 to 80 μm. The peeling length (length in the line direction) of the insulating film at the predetermined location S of each
As shown in FIG. 2, the

As shown in FIG. 3, the
The terminal portions 12 </ b> A and 12 </ b> B of the flat wire coil 1 are supported by the
The

<Basic structure of the cutting tool for peeling the insulation film>
Next, the basic structure of the cutting tool for peeling off the insulating film on the
As shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B, the
First, when the
Further, the
On the other hand, when the load in the vertical direction decreases, the
Therefore, the
As shown in FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (b), the

As shown in FIG. 8, the cutting load detection system includes a displacement sensor that measures the positions of the
The control flow of this cutting load detection system will be described separately for a position correction flowchart before cutting and a position correction flowchart for cutting.
First, the position correction flowchart before cutting is performed as shown in FIG. That is, in steps S1 and S3, the displacement sensor measures each position of point 1 (tip side of the terminal part) and point 2 (base side of the terminal part) of the rectangular wire coil in order. At that time, if the displacement sensor cannot read, in steps S2 and S4, the system is stopped by performing error processing outside the sensor acquisition range. When measurement of point 1 and

FIG. 11 shows data of the cutting load when the insulating film coated on the
As shown in FIG. 11, the cutting load averaged about 1 Newton from the start of cutting to the end of cutting, and even the maximum value did not reach 2 Newton. Thus, by correcting the position while monitoring the load load during cutting, the cutting load can be suppressed to a low value, and the position deviation of the robot handling itself can be covered.
As shown in FIG. 8, when a general-purpose articulated robot is used for the

Next, the pinching structure of the terminal portion by the clamp unit will be described. 12A and 12B are schematic views of the clamp unit, in which FIG. 12A shows a top view that sandwiches a surface orthogonal to the surface from which the insulating film is peeled, and FIG. 12B shows a side view thereof. In FIG. 13, the front view of the cutting device provided with the clamp unit is shown. FIG. 14 shows a detailed view of the engaging portion of the clamp unit.

<Effect>
As described above in detail, according to the present embodiment of the method for manufacturing a rectangular wire coil according to the present invention, the
Specifically, since the
Therefore, the peeling amount of the insulating film in the
In the conventional technique in which the insulating film is peeled by cutting in the direction of the flat wire, the insulating film is peeled off at the base and the tip of the
In addition, the length in the long side direction or the short side direction (in this embodiment, about 2 to 3 mm) of the
Therefore, the end mill 2 (2A, 2B) peels off the insulating film coated on the long side surface or the short side surface of the
Moreover, according to this embodiment, since the insulating film of
Therefore, when peeling off the insulating film on the
Moreover, according to this embodiment, since the cutting tool is the outer peripheral blade of the end mill 2 (2A, 2B), the cutting load accompanying the peeling of the insulating film is small, and the insulating film on the
Specifically, the end mill has a configuration in which a chip discharging groove is formed along the outer peripheral blade. In general, the chip discharging groove is provided with a twist angle θ with respect to the rotation axis of the tool body in order to suppress a sudden biting of the outer peripheral blade to the work material. Therefore, when the workpiece is cut by moving the end mill in the direction orthogonal to the rotation axis, the cutting point cut by the outer peripheral edge is shifted along the twist angle. As a result, when the insulating film is peeled off by the outer peripheral edge of the end mill, the cutting load accompanying the peeling is smaller than that of other cutting tools, and the positions of the
Therefore, when stripping the insulation film on the
Moreover, according to this embodiment, since the
Further, according to the present embodiment, the
Therefore, the peeling time of the insulating film can be further shortened, and further contribution can be made by the automation of the production of the rectangular wire coil.
According to the present embodiment, when the insulating film is peeled off, the cutting load of the end mill 2 (2A, 2B) is detected and the cutting allowance is adjusted. It is possible to stabilize the peeling amount of the insulating film in the
Further, according to the present embodiment, the
Specifically, when the
Therefore, the insulating film peeling time can be further shortened while maintaining the insulating film peeling accuracy, which can further contribute to the automation of the production of the rectangular wire coil.
Further, according to the present embodiment, the
Specifically, the
Therefore, using a general-purpose transporter, it is possible to further shorten the insulating film peeling time while maintaining the insulating film peeling accuracy, and to further contribute to the automation of the rectangular wire coil manufacturing.
In addition, according to the present embodiment of the stator manufacturing apparatus of the present invention, a rectangular including a winding
Therefore, when peeling off the insulating film on the
