【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 ベッド側面を、スクリーン部材によっ
てガードするように、スクリーン部材を昇降可能に設け
た昇降型のベッド側面ガード機構において、サイドフレ
ーム上に下部横桟部材を設けると共に、この下部横桟部
材の両端側に支柱を立設し、この支柱のサイドフレーム
長手方向に互いに対向する側に案内溝を設けて、上部横
桟部材を昇降可能に装着すると共に、前記下部横桟部材
と上部横桟部材間に前記スクリーン部材を常時巻き取る
ように付勢した状態で、巻き取り保持する巻き取り軸を
昇降可能に配置し、前記スクリーン部材は、上部横桟部
材を持ち上げた際に、下部横桟部材と巻き取り軸間に展
開されるように配置して前記巻き取り軸に巻き取り収容
される第1のスクリーン部材と、上部横桟部材と巻き取
り軸間に展開されるように配置して前記巻き取り軸に巻
き取り収容される第2のスクリーン部材とによって構成
し、前記上部横桟部材を持ち上げることで、第1、第2
スクリーン部材を巻き取り軸から引き出して、ベッド側
面を覆うようにすると共に、上部横桟部材を最高位置に
持ち上げた位置で保持するようにしたロック機構を設け
たことを特徴とする昇降型のベッド側面ガード機構。
