DESCRIPTION

The model in question consists in an innovative application of these strings in constituting the impact plane of the ball in tennis rackets or other. The strings of animal gut or synthetic material, such as nylon, have a low specific density which, however, increased through the incorporation of impalpable powders of pigments of metal salts or of the metals themselves, gives them better elasticity and shock absorption even though without changing its characteristics. Thanks to its characteristics, the reticular impact plane with weighted gut string allows the racket to be tuned with a lower tension than normal, without modifying its performance in terms of elasticity and throwing power. Ball control is also significantly improved.

In detail: The process of preparing the strings by incorporating them with the charges described above, takes place by wetting them in water in the preferential ratio of 1 kg of powder to 5 liters of water to form a pulp. From tests carried out on the playing field with rackets prepared in this way, it was found that the lower tension required by the weighted gut and the use of the same allow to widen the impact area, (that part of the stringbed that allows maximum thrust on the ball), and this involves less tension dispersion together with greater playing comfort.

From the foregoing the advantages that this string presents are evident, summarizing in itself all the qualities required as regards the absorption of vibrations and playing performance.
