Sono noti i connettori destinati principalmente al settore delle automobili e la cui finalità è quella, per la loro configurazione sia interna che esterna, di servire da punto di incontro tra terminali femmina, vincolati a cavi, che entrano dalla loro parte inferiore, e terminali maschio che entrano dalla loro parte superiore. Lo scopo del presente trovato è quello di creare un sistema di connettori assemblabili aventi profilo simile tanto che, solo variando il numero di cavità interne, essendo la forma progettata per ottenere un numero pari di dette cavità, si possano ottenere varie combinazioni possibili mediante tre soli tipi base di connettori formati rispettivamente da due, quattro e otto cavità.
