SUMMARY

The present invention consists of a platform with different inclinations, both to facilitate the harvesting of olives or other fruit and to empty the underlying collection tanks.

The finding of the present invention absolutely excludes:

1) the use of collection sheets;

2) the use of ladders;

3) cleaning the base of the plant from weeds and shrubs?

4) manual collection of the fallen product on the ground. My invention is composed of a platform with variable inclination through hydraulic control, formed by a work surface and a containment tank.

The upper part of the platform is covered with a grating designed to support the operator's feet and to pass the product into the containment tanks.

The platform is divided in the center and therefore allows you to open and close like a compass, by means of two hydraulic jacks, centrally incorporating the fruit tree and ensuring that it adheres perfectly to it, whatever the diameter and shape of the trunk, thanks to a device of elastic grip? the result is the perfect fall of the product into the containment tank, located in the lower part of the surface, excluding any loss of the product itself.

Since the platform can be opened in the center and therefore can be divided into two parts, the lower tank is also actually composed of two tanks, each of which has its porthole for unloading the product.

The aforementioned work surface has the possibility of rising, lowering and tilting in the most suitable way both to compensate for the different conformations or inclinations of the land, and for the unloading of the product from the collection tanks.

The device object of this invention consists of four fundamental parts:

1) A coupling head;

2) A rotating tailstock in the coupling head; 3) A load-bearing frame;

4) A platform that can be opened in two compass sectors with underlying containment tanks.

The coupling head consists of a plate where the three coupling points to the hydraulic lifting of the mechanical means are positioned; it has a particular shape that gives it the possibility to slide the remaining part of the tool structure by means of a hydraulic jack in order to lean to the right and to the left of the mechanical means.

The rotating counter-head is connected to the aforesaid coupling head, by means of a pin located in the lower part and a sliding support in the upper part to allow the aforementioned possibility of inclination from both sides.

In the rotating tailstock there is a hydraulic jack connected to it and to the frame which is hinged on the two sides of the tailstock to allow the front and rear tilting movement.

Claims (9)

CLAIMS 1) Machine suitable for use as a mobile platform with universal inclination for the harvesting of olives or other fruit tree products; consisting of a coupling head (fig. 1), a rotating counter-head in the coupling head (fig. 2), a load-bearing frame (fig. 3) and a platform that can be opened with a compass in two sectors, with underlying product containment tanks (figs. 4 and 4a). 2) While maintaining the claims of point 1, it is possible at my indiscretion to provide this support surface with an engine, thus excluding the use of a tractor and making it self-propelled with tracks or wheels. 3) While maintaining the claims of points 1 and 2, the hydraulic movements referred to in figures 5, 6, 6a and 7 can conveniently be replaced at my indiscretion with mechanical, compressed air or electromechanical movements, with manual or non-manual operation. 4) While maintaining the claims of points 1, 2 and 3, the compass opening movement can be constructed by pivoting the two sectors (figs. 4 and 4a) with a single pin or with a support pin for each sector. 5) While maintaining the claims of points 1, 2, 3 and 4, the left and right inclination movement of the counterhead shown in fig. 2, can also be made with a toothed sector and worm screw, controlled manually or with a motor. 6) While maintaining the claims of points 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, the half-sectors referred to in figures 4 and 4a, originally sectors of a circle, may at my indiscretion have any shape appropriate to the use for which they are intended. 7) While maintaining the claims of points 1,2,3-, 4,5 and 6, the support grating of fig. 8, can be made in any shape and / or size of lattice suitable for the collection use for which it is intended. 8) While maintaining the claims of points 1,2,3, -4,5,6 and 7, it is also claimed that the compass opening of the two semi-platforms can actually be a single platform with "U" opening fixed, as shown in fig. 9. 9) While maintaining the claims referred to in point 8, it can be made either fixed or rotating on itself, with a left and / or right-handed movement, thus leaving the driving part stationary and allowing the said platform to rotate completely around the shaft and / or shrub, ultimately allowing for a full harvest. It is also emphasized that said rotary movement can be carried out with hydraulic or mechanical movement, with an electric or manual gear motor. The aforementioned platform will always be equipped with a container for collecting the product as shown in fig. 10 and in point 1 above.
