Il presente trovato ha per oggetto un procedimento per la realizzazione di lastre ceramiche di grandi dimensioni. The present invention relates to a process for making large ceramic slabs.
E' sempre maggiormente sentita l'esigenza in campo edile di poter disporre di pannelli di grandi dimensioni che combinino capacità strutturali, di isolamento acustico, di isolamento termico, di resistenza superficiale ed al contempo superficialmente ornabili con colori, disegni, stampe a seconda dell'impatto visivo che con tali pannelli si desidera ottenere. Un altro scopo del trovato à ̈ quello di mettere a punto un procedimento che impieghi materie prime facilmente reperibili sul mercato, e quindi capace di realizzare lastre ceramiche di grandi dimensioni di costi competitivi rispetto ad analoghi prodotti già presenti nel campo dell'edilizia. - miscelare ed omogeneizzare, in un miscelatore A, da intendersi di tipo noto, le materie prime 11; - macinare fino ad una granulometria inferiore a 100 µm, e preferibilmente ad una granulometria di circa 75 µm, in un macinatore B, le materie prime miscelate ed omogeneizzate nel miscelatore A; - mixing and homogenizing the raw materials 11 in a mixer A, intended to be of a known type; - grind the raw materials mixed and homogenized in mixer A to a particle size lower than 100 µm, and preferably to a particle size of about 75 µm, in a grinder B;

Con tale procedimento secondo il trovato si possono quindi ottenere lastre di grandi dimensioni con elevate caratteristiche di resistenza al fuoco e bassissimo contenuto di composti organici volatili, con elevate caratteristiche superficiali in termini di durezza, resistenza all’abrasione, resistenza agli agenti chimici, nonchà ̈ con una vasta gamma di soluzioni estetiche, con possibilità di personalizzare le superfici in funzione delle richieste del committente.
