Description
“PANNELLO MODULARE PER PAVIMENTI FLOTTANTI” "MODULAR PANEL FOR FLOATING FLOORS"
The present invention refers to the so-called floating floors, and more precisely, it concerns the panel that constitutes the elementary unit for the construction of said floors, by mutual assembly of a plurality of said elementary units.
Floating floors are those walking platforms that are set up for a limited use over time and particularly in disadvantaged locations and in emergency situations, such as a ground upset by floods, landslides, collapses or earthquakes, where it is urgent to carry out shelters emergency for residential or operational use. The floating floor is thrown onto this hardly practicable ground and a tent or other similar structure is mounted on top of it in which to shelter men and means necessary to manage the situation.
The essential technical characteristics of these floors are therefore ease and speed of assembly and disassembly, reliability of the structure, low cost of the constituent elements.
However, these characteristics cannot be found jointly in the known floors and in the relative constituent elementary units; Reliability is accompanied by a high cost of the components, the speed and ease of assembly is coupled with a substantial unreliability of the floor especially as regards the mechanical resistance and therefore the duration over time, which conditions the subsequent reuse of the structure.
The Applicant has now found a technical solution for the elementary purpose of setting up such floors, hereinafter referred to simply as a panel, which solves all known problems and best meets all the aforementioned needs.
In its more general aspect, the present invention refers to a floating floor panel as described in the first claim.
In other particular aspects, the invention also relates to the floating floor made with the aforementioned panels and the method of making the aforementioned floor.
Figure 12 is a cross-sectional view of two panels mutually hooked along the sides provided with support profiles.
Figure 1 illustrates in perspective view a modular panel for floating walls, according to the invention, in a convenient embodiment. The panel comprises a plate 1 of polygonal shape with four sides, with two surfaces 11 and 12, flat and parallel to each other, axially opposed, and two pairs of opposite sides 13 and 14, of which at least two opposite sides (13) are also parallel to each other. For ease of description and representation, reference is made to a square-shaped panel provided with two pairs of equal and parallel opposite sides, but other shapes are also possible, for example rectangular, rhombic or trapezoidal. On each side of the panel there is a longitudinal section able to interact with the corresponding section of a side-by-side plate to form a continuous coplanar surface portion. On each of the sides of the pair, or of a pair, of opposite sides 13, equal and parallel, there is a profile 2, integral with the edge of the panel, and shaped on its radially external surface, according to a curvilinear profile, extended between the two surfaces of the panel, which has, on the plane of the cross section normal to the longitudinal development of the profile, in sequence and with reference to said external surface, a first convexity 21 followed by a first concavity 22 followed by a second convexity 23 and therefore a second concavity 24 , said first convexity and second concavity with an axis of symmetry substantially parallel to said pair of opposite surfaces, said first concavity and second convexity with an axis of symmetry substantially inclined according to an angle of about 45 ° with respect to said pair of axially opposed surfaces.
More preferably, this angle has a value between 30 ° and 60 °. Preferably the second convexity protrudes radially outward with respect to a plane p normal to the walking surfaces of the panel and tangent to the edge 25 of the surface near which the aforementioned curvilinear profile has the second concavity. The profile now described, for the properties which will be explained in detail below, is hereinafter defined as a hooking profile.
On each of the sides 14 of the second pair, interspersed with the opposite and parallel sides 13 of the first pair, there is a section 3 which presents, on the plane of the cross section normal to the longitudinal development of the section, a profile preferably L or U anchored to the edge of the panel along one leg of the L or U, as illustrated in the accompanying figures. This section is hereinafter referred to as the support section.
At this point it is easy to understand the assembly sequence of the floating floor, also with reference to figures 4 and 7-11.
After having positioned a panel according to the invention on the ground, or on a support which will be discussed more precisely below, a second panel is grasped, taking care that the two panels face each other with the edge provided with the aforementioned curvilinear hooking profile and approaches the second panel to the first with an inclination of about 45 ° so as to insert the convexities of a profile into the corresponding cavities of the side-by-side profile. The two opposite curvilinear profiles guide the movement by compensating for any inaccurate angular positioning. When the two profiles are completely interpenetrated with each other, the second panel is knocked down, placing it in a coplanar position with the first panel. In this position the two panels are locked together, with respect to any reciprocal horizontal displacement in the direction normal to the two coupled profiles and in the vertical direction. The horizontal displacements parallel to the longitudinal direction of the profiles are blocked by the rows of adjacent panels, as can be seen in figure 6 and by the devices that fix the perimeter of the floor.
In a first embodiment of the invention, the curvilinear profiles on opposite sides of the same panel have the same sequence of convexity and concavity between the two surfaces of said plate, ie they are mounted in a concordant manner. In this case, when assembling the floor, the panels must be connected to each other by alternating in sequence an upper surface 12 with a lower surface 13 to allow the coupling between complementary curvilinear profiles.
In a different embodiment of the invention, the curvilinear profiles on opposite sides of the same panel have an inverse sequence of convexity and concavity between the two corresponding surfaces of the panel, i.e. they are mounted discordant. In this case, when assembling the floor, the panels must be connected always maintaining the same orientation of the surfaces, i.e. the upper surfaces 12 always on the same side and so for the lower surfaces 13. to allow the coupling between complementary curvilinear profiles.
Preferably, the aforesaid curvilinear profiles, when coupled in two panels connected to each other, present a mutual displacement at each facing pair of concavity and convexity, generating a small cavity. In this way, any traces of mud or other debris left on the curvilinear profiles during the disassembly of the previous floor, find space for accumulation in the aforementioned cavities and therefore do not hinder the assembly of the new floor.
It is evident that the arrangement of the curvilinear profiles on the panel also conditions the arrangement of the L-shaped or U-shaped profiles on the intercalated sides: when assembling the floor these support profiles must be alternately arranged in the opposite direction to allow their coupling.
As regards the structure of the panel, panels for this type of use are already known; in any case, the panel according to the invention can be of any material and any structure as long as it is capable of ensuring the necessary requirements of mechanical solidity and wear resistance. In a convenient embodiment, the panel comprises a filling material, in particular a honeycomb material, sandwiched between two sheets of synthetic or natural material which identify the two walking surfaces, axially opposite each other of the panel: if the filling material, bears the wear and tear of the floor the two slabs can be reduced to two comicals that run along the edges of the panel.
Between these two plates or strips, the profile is inserted with the curved coupling profile; more particularly, the aforesaid section is made of any suitable material, preferably aluminum or its alloys for reasons of lightness and simultaneous mechanical strength and durability.
On the surface facing radially outwards, the profile, as already seen, has a curvilinear coupling profile with the complementary profiles of the other panels while on the opposite surface, facing the panel, it has a longitudinal relief 5 inserted between said opposing surfaces. The L or U profiles present on the second pair of opposite sides of the panel are instead preferably fixed to the panel, side by side, in the most convenient way with reference to the cost of the operation, for example fixing with screw means. Preferably, the aforesaid axially opposite surfaces have a plurality of axial through holes at each corner of the panel. In this case at least one of said through holes, in correspondence with each corner of the panel, crosses the longitudinal relief 5 of the profile 2.
The purpose of these holes is to allow the panel to be mounted on a support foot that detaches it from the ground. Preferably, this foot comprises a stem, preferably metal, of variable length, for example by mutual screwing of two tubular elements, having one end provided with a widened base for resting on the ground and the other end provided with a plate perpendicular to the axis of the stem, on which preferably vertically extending metallic pegs are solidly fixed, each suitable for inserting into a corresponding hole in the panel. Each stem can thus connect four panels side by side 360 °. The use of these feet thus allows you to keep the floating floor raised above the ground.
As an alternative to the aforementioned feet, the floating floor according to the present invention can be supported by a frame comprising groups of pegs arranged vertically with respect to the floor, each peg inserted in a corresponding hole among those present on said opposite surfaces of said panels.
L’invenzione consegue molteplici e importanti vantaggi. The invention achieves multiple and important advantages.
The panels equipped with the aforementioned curved coupling profiles allow an extremely quick and easy assembly of the floating floor, without requiring the use of special tools (screwdrivers, wrenches and the like) and accessory materials such as screws, bolts, pins, clips and the like. . The use of your hands is sufficient to Γ hook the next panel to the already built part of the floor. The panels, thanks to the materials that can be used, can be light and at the same time very resistant to mechanical stress and wear. The curvilinear coupling profiles allow the assembly of the floor even in critical situations, in degraded environments and without requiring a prior revision of the panels.
The possibility of mounting a floor raised above the ground offers a series of known advantages; perfect horizontality of the floor even on uneven ground, distance from stagnant water and disturbing vegetation, space available under the floor to house pipes and cables for the services needed by the structure.
