Abstract

A child's stroller is convertible into a baby carriage equipped with a cradle and comprises a baby's chair (11) mounted on a wheeled frame (12) and with pushing handlebar (13). The baby's chair (11) comprises in turn a seat (14), a reclinable backrest (15), side panels (16) and a safety cross-bar (17) arranged in front of the seat. For conversion into a baby carriage the backrest (15) is reclinable to an essentially horizontal position and a yielding-material cover (20) is provided which is movable to be superimposable at least on a front part of the baby's chair and form with it the cradle for use as a baby carriage with the cover (20) being supported at the front by the safety bar (17) to form a front wall of the cradle (figure 4). A foot rest (22) may be raised so as to lie parallel to the seat, and the safety bar (17) may be withdrawn away from the backrest (15) when in the cradle position.
