I serbatoi di stoccaggio fissi cilindrici utilizzati per contenere gas di petrolio liquefatti (GPL) sono di norma disponibili nei volumi da 500lt fino a 13.000lt, progettati e costruiti secondo norma EN 12542:2010 (ex EN14075:2007). Il diffondersi delle energìe alternative (solare termico, biocombustibili, etc..), il miglioramento delle classi energetiche degli edifici, spinti dalla costante crescita dei prezzi dei combustibili tradizionali ha di fatto reso questi serbatoi sovrastimati per le attuali necessità delle utenze private (fonte ISTAT). Un serbatoio con capacità inferiore a It 300 (idoneo alle reali necessità di molte utenze), godrebbe di dimensioni e peso ridotte (installazione e trasporti più semplici ed economici, oltre che poter offrire maggiori possibilità di installazione), ricadendo in una classe di sicurezza a criticità ridotta (tempi e costi ridotti di installazione e certificazione). Tale serbatoio troverebbe applicazione in numerosi impianti che ad oggi fanno uso di una o più bombole mobili, limitando di fatto situazioni di irregolarità e pericolo a seguito di gestioni private incontrollate (max 150it complessivi, oltre il quale è prescritta una maggiore criticità).

Uso esterno o interrato” RIVENDICAZIONI: Rivendichiamo come caratteristica essenziale e nuova del serbatoio la sua capacità inferiore ai 300 litri.
