Description
Method and equipment for the production of manufactured articles composed of tubular knitwear and resulting products.
Descrizione Description
The introduction of modern circular knitting machines of the "full electronic" type with differentiated diameters has attracted the interest of the textile industry as the versatility of these machines allows to produce a wide range of simple tubular items such as, for example, bras, brassieres, underpants, dresses, trousers, skirts, bodies, swimwear, linings, technical articles and more. As far as is known, the aforementioned products are produced individually and separately, therefore there are no composite and multi-functional tubular products on the market.
The current production of individual and separate tubular products makes the production cycle more complex and burdensome as numerous cutting and sewing interventions and related scraps are required, as well as other additional operations concerning finishing and packaging that affect continuously and permanently on general production costs. The current way of life favors informal and practical garments produced with elastomeric yarns, light, resistant, crease-resistant and without longitudinal seams.
With particular reference to the widespread activities of gymnastic and aerobic gymnastics, or jogging and other activities related to free time, knitted products generally composed of a tight-fitting suit often equipped with upper straps, with short or long trousers, on which they are sewn or worn additional items such as underpants or brassiere, even of different colors, for aesthetic and functional purposes. The present invention intends to concretely reduce or completely eliminate some of the aforementioned production and functional limits in order to automatically produce tubular knitted items without longitudinal seams, generally composed of an external knitted tube provided internally with additional sections of tubular knit to more concentric veils, with sufficient containment and anatomical support capacity, also targeted, with original economic, technical, aesthetic and commercial purposes.
Having said this, a main object of the present invention is to provide a method and the related apparatus for producing composite tubular articles with knitting machines preferably but not exclusively circular, unidirectional, provided with additional concentric and internal knitted areas to the outer knitted tube, there structurally and functionally connected to contain, bind or support anatomical parts. Another object is to provide a method and the relative apparatus for the production of composite tubular articles, with several plies or concentric fabrics, even at least partially overlapped, by means of the fixed and prolonged selection of alternating needles along the circumference of the needle cylinder.
Another object is to provide a method and related apparatus for the production of multi-purpose tubular articles with multiple plies or concentric fabrics, overlapping at least partially, by means of the prolonged selection of needles alternating with groups of non-alternating needles, preferably along the entire length. circumference of the cylinder or needle bed. An additional purpose is to provide a method and related apparatus for the production of textile articles such as bands, belts, underpants and bras in particular, with specific areas of dimensionally more stable mesh to create or improve the characteristics of conformation and targeted anatomical support or particular.
A final purpose is to provide a method and related equipment for the production of articles composed of one or more garments, structurally connected to the knitted tube and then worn outside said tube in order to improve the characteristics of conformation and anatomical support. together with aesthetic and commercial advantages. Further objects result from the accompanying description, examples and drawings, on their own or in combination with each other, in addition to the final claims.
The characteristics of the invention and the resulting advantages result more clearly from the following description of exemplary embodiments which is applied advantageously to most of the knitting machines in general, circular ones in particular. In a first preferred embodiment, the invention is initially realized with the preparation of a work cycle and jacquard design, ie information directed or precluded to the needles by means of a graphic station and or control devices or other known means suitable for the purpose. The production of the article 1 in fig. The production proceeds with all the needles of the bed according to the progression of the arrows, then from the bottom up, up to point K, where it is modified and partially interrupted. According to the invention, the process of forming the internal two-ply flounce 3 begins, for which only alternate needles such as the odd ones are engaged, while the even needles hold the previously produced stitch. At the end of said flounce 3, the knitting tube 1 processing cycle resumes from point K with all the needles of the needle bed up to the next point Y for the production of the internal flounce 2, similar to the previous 3, for which the same procedures are repeated up to the upper edge 4 and final internal unthreading Wl, or external W.
8. The article 1 also seen in fig. 2 in a more schematic way, is therefore formed by the external tube 1, produced substantially with all the needles of the needle bed, and by foldable flounces according to the arrows F, i.e. the internal sections 2 and 3 of two-ply knit produced with a reduced number of needles. Contrary to the norm, during the knitting process, even a substantial part of impulses or commands usually directed to the needles, is not sent to a part of these, according to a predefined pattern or program conforming to the original design. This determines Γ exclusion from the knitting process of needles without inputs or commands; this exclusion, if total and with defined zones, produces the floating yarns FF in fig. 7, alternative to knitting M. Said floating yarns FF are possibly manipulated with the use of a reduced number of needles A in operation, fig. 8, duly spaced, with the dual purpose of reducing the length of the said floats FF and creating interesting interlacing of knits or the production of the three-dimensional internal flounces Bi in fig. 8.
7A; immagliati come FFI in fig. 7B, o trattenuti come FFT in fig. In fig. Therefore, the invention is realized at least in part by means of the different use of said floating yarns FF, resulting from the fact that between the loops M and MI the usual process of forming the stitch M is interrupted, replaced by the aforementioned floating yarns variously arranged or intertwined: free as FFL in fig. 7A; imaged as FFI in fig. 7B, or retained as FFT in fig. 7C for some realizations; or by transforming said floating yarns FF into knitted fabric produced only with a part of the needles present in the areas or zones concerned, such as Bi in the aforementioned fig. 8. For example, only even needles AP will be excluded, fig. 8, or needles in alternating pairs; that is, in groups of three in work followed by one or more needles excluded, and so on. The simultaneous presence of working needles, alternating with excluded needles, figs. 8-9-14, for defined areas and for a relatively long time (corresponding to a high number of knitting rows, fig. 8-9), is the necessary and sufficient condition for the production of an original knitted fabric. three-dimensional formed by the working needles and relative AD loops but interrupted and still intertwined with the excluded needles and AP loops, fig. 8, in order to produce the two-ply closed knit flounce or fabrics Bi, fig. 8, inside the usual mesh tube TM. This internal flounce Bi is characterized on the right side (or outside of the stitch) by a regular suture caused by the elongation of the loops or stitches of the out-of-work AP needles and therefore excluded from the production of the aforementioned flounce Bi, which is repeatable and variable in height and length. These three-dimensional flounces Bi are particularly effective along horizontal and diagonal lines; therefore, suitably elongated and arranged according to the invention, they take on the characteristics of additional two-ply tubular knitting sections suitable for use for multiple purposes: linings, brassieres, underpants; bags and pockets, internal or external, are obtained by arranging a small group of adjacent needles, for example 30-60 units, in one or more parts of the cylinder in which all the other needles work only alternately. The accessory shoulder straps 14 of fig. 5 are obtained in at least two ways: automatically, by means of the programmed release by the needles of a suitable number of loops and subsequent resumption of the knitting process by the same needles in correspondence with the arrows F1 in fig. 3. Or, during the serger operation for the completion of the article 1 open in correspondence with the arrows F1 immediately before the upper edge 4 of fig. 3. In figure 4, the flounces 2 and 3 object of the invention are hatched inside the knitted tube 1, further elaborated with the addition of suitable knitted weaves graphically illustrated in table 2, placed in correspondence with the central area AC and ventral AV area for greater dimensional stability and anatomical support. Figures 5 and 6 show two embodiments of the invention more realistically. In fig. 5 shows the overalls 1 provided with upper shoulder straps 14, obtained from the aforementioned edge 4, having short trousers with a double lower edge 5 and the internal pull-out W1 or external W. The aforementioned flounces 2 and 3, placed on the outside of the overalls 1, they respectively take on the functions of brassiere 2 with upper elastic folded edge BE and pant 3 with diagonal leg, subsequently completed. In figure 6 the tubular dress 1 is provided with a collar 4, openings for the arms 7, the pant 3 and the brassiere 2, indicated by the dotted lines T. The tubular articles described can be worn and therefore shown upright or on the reverse, also to highlight the effect of transparencies between the underlying mesh, sometimes different in yarn, color or weave, from the overlying one, also formed by so-called openwork or "transparent" weaves. The present description, which is necessarily limited, offers to those skilled in the art wide margins of innovation which fall within the scope of the invention.
Breve descrizione delle figure Brief description of the figures
TAV. 1. In fig. TAV. 1. Figure 1 shows in section the external knitted tube 1 provided with internal two-ply bands 2 and 3, dashed, produced with a reduced number of needles. In fig. 2 the aforementioned internal bands 2 and 3 can be folded up according to different needs with multiple functions. The lower edge 5A and upper edge 4A are produced with the usual hooks or needles of the pad or other needle bed (not shown), while the edges 5B and 4B are produced with only the needles of the cylinder, alternating. Figure 3 shows the aforementioned flounces 2 and 3 placed outside the knitted tube 1, for the production of the article 1 of Figure 5.
2. Fig. 4 shows in section the double edge 4 partially open and raised according to the arrows F inside the knitted tube 1. The lower band 3, for squared or high-cut underpants, and the upper band 2 intended to perform functions of brassiere. Both said bands 2 and 3 are further characterized by mesh areas AC and AV, made dimensionally more stable by the presence of suitable mesh structures, such as for example 7 - 8 - 10, in table. 2.
TAV. 2. The figures in table 2 graphically illustrate some textile weaves at the origin of the invention. Fig. 7 shows the FF floating yarns alternative to the normal M knit.
Con 7A- 7B- 7C sono schematicamente illustrate alcune elaborazioni concernenti i fili flottanti FF variamente manipolati ed intrecciati, FFL, FFT, FFL With 7A- 7B- 7C some elaborations concerning the floating yarns FF variously manipulated and intertwined, FFL, FFT, FFL are schematically illustrated
Fig. 8 shows the needles A on which the usual knitted tube TM is attached, inside which the two-ply flounce Bi is produced, seen in section. Seen from the front, the same flounce Bi is produced only by the odd needles AD while the even needles AP, out of work, retain the last previous loops. Figures 8A -8B -8C schematically illustrate the horizontal and diagonal arrangement of the flounces Bi, repeated for effects of structure or padding or additional comfort in different parts of the articles. Figures 12 and 13 show in a rather realistic way a “held stitch” respectively in knitting, PT, and on the needles; furthermore, figure 14 represents both the beginning of the production of the aforementioned flounces Bi, or the intertwining of the single "bridle" BR also seen in fig. 15 and 16. Fig. 10 shows a so-called “embossed” or cellular mesh structure, characterized by an alternating and prolonged sequence of retained stitches for greater dimensional stiffening of the mesh, especially in the AC and AV areas. Figures 5 and 6 illustrate two preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention. In particular the product of fig. 5 is a garment made up of concentric fabrics produced continuously, of which the underlying 1 acts as a suit, while 2 and 3 indicate the brassiere and the pant that only partially cover the underlying product 1. In accordance with the different production and commercial needs , said brassiere and underpants can be very different in length, color, yarn and weave, (even perforated). Finally, Figure 6 shows a composite tubular dress, provided with a collar 4, openings for the arms 7 and equipped inside with a pant 3 and brassiere 2 structurally connected to the external knitted tube 1.
