Description
“PANNELLO IN CERAMICA CON POLIURETANO ESPANSO”. “CERAMIC PANEL WITH EXPANDED POLYURETHANE”.
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The invention refers to a new and original ceramic panel with polyurethane foam as a retaining element and for thermal and acoustic insulation. In the ceramic sector, embodiments in ceramic material having glassy characteristics, known by the commercial name of laminam, are known. These applications involve the use of a mesh, in plastic or metal material applied to the internal part of the laminam construction, in order to avoid, in the event of accidental breakage of the laminam ceramic top, that fragments of this material, having glassy characteristics, they can fall into splinters or dangerous sharp edges. The nets placed on the internal facades of the laminam product have, however, application costs and do not guarantee the retention of splinters not tied to the mesh of the net. The object of the result is a panel whose internal surface is bound by polyurethane foam which, solidifying in polyurethane, forms an element of adhesion of the laminam sheet to the internal surface, thus avoiding the use of nets applied internally to retain fragments. A further advantage of the invention is to obtain a panel for any application capable of achieving thermal and acoustic insulation, by virtue of the known chemical-physical properties of polyurethane. Another object obtained by the invention is to carry out the function of retaining the laminam sheet from accidental splinters or breakages with low costs compared to known solutions prior to the result. A further advantage offered by the result is, given the fragility of the laminam ceramic plate, to improve the transport conditions of the product obtained according to the present invention. The invention, on the basis of the properties obtained with the expanded polyurethane, is used for many other applications, which cannot be obtained with the simple use of the single slab of ceramic material known by the commercial name of laminam. The object of the result is illustrated purely as an indication and as such is not limited to the drawings of Tables 1 and 2. In Table 1, Figure 1 is a front view of the invention. Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of the invention. In Table 2 Figure 3 is a front view of another form of application. Figure 4 is a sectional view of another form of application. In the same Table 2, Figure 5 is a front view of a further embodiment. Figure 6 is a sectional view of a further embodiment. In a preferred but not exclusive embodiment, the invention consists of a sandwich structure 1 with ceramic material 4 on the external faces 2 and 3, known under the commercial name of laminam, and on the inside expanded polyurethane 5. At the edges 6 a strip 7 of ceramic material similar to that used for the facades is placed or, in equivalent form, a U-shaped profile 8 having the function of spacer for the outer facades. In another embodiment, the sandwich structure 1 consists of a ceramic facade 4 in laminam, a layer of expanded polyurethane 5 and a wooden facade 9. In a further embodiment, the wooden facade 9 can be replaced for façade in plastic laminate 10. The edges of these further embodiments can be made indifferently of ceramic material, U-shaped profile of metal material, wood or plastic laminate. During the construction phase, the invention is prepared by arranging the external facades with edges to create a suitable internal chamber from which, through a through hole, polyurethane foam is injected which, solidifying, transforms into expanded polyurethane and carries out the restraining action between the parts. . For small thicknesses, the polyurethane can be applied to the internal part of the panel with strips fixed by gluing. The object of the result foresees use in civil works such as for external cladding, for internal cladding, to create internal walls or partitions of various thicknesses in a simple and fast way. The invention also finds application for furnishing components, such as tops for tables or kitchens, shelves, parts of furniture, coatings for ovens or refrigerators. The sturdiness obtained with the resulting object also allows it to be used for doors, gates or fire doors. The invention is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all falling within the scope of the inventive granted, as well as all the details can be replaced by other technically equivalent ones.
