Abstract

The clamp secures plastics or glass panes in a transparent roof or skylight. Two profiled components (2,3) are screwed together (18). A tie-bolt (18) tightened by a nut (9) passes through drillings (15,16) in the components, securing them in a predetermined position in relation to each other. This prevents any form of fatigue distortion of the most heavily-loaded surfaces, particularly the top (24) of the second component (3).
