Abstract

The fastener is used to fix corrugated cladding sheets(15) to a purlin(5) of a square angled 'C' section or similar. An 180 deg. return (1) of the leg of the clip houses a purlin flange (3), the bar(6) then forming an extension of the purlin web(5). A square hole(12) in the plate locates the neck(13) of a fixing bolt(14), the head(16) being located against the purlin in a space delineated by the crank(23) and an end return(20). The arrangement enables the bolt(14) to bear on the purlin during piercing of the cladding.
