A machine for steam ironing treatment of garments of the kind of female skirts, characterized in that it comprises: a rigid supporting structure; at least one "gown" of fabric which covers said support structure and? committed at the base of it; means for supplying steam and subsequently hot air into said jacket; the garment to be ironed being invested on said shirt supported by said structure, to be invested by the steam and hot air filtered by the fabric.

2. Machine as per the preceding claim, characterized in that said structure comprises a portal and orthogonally to it two symmetrical ribs that can be adjusted in position by effect of an elastic joint and of organs for the spreading and narrowing of said ribs, according to the " size "of the garments to be ironed.

3. Machine according to the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a perforated tubular jacket for the diffusion of steam and air, the supply ducts of which open into said jacket.

4. Machine as per the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that it further comprises a cover of cloth or coat, inside the aforementioned coat, which constitutes a further filter for the steam, to uniformly diffuse the steam that passes through it and therefore through the said shirt.
