DESCRIPTION

This patent relates to hinges with full opening of wings and doors and in particular concerns a new application for concealed hinges with total opening with a capacity greater than 30 kilograms for doors and doors with a thickness of less than 30 millimeters.

Total opening hinges are known, which allow the rotation of the leaf or door of about 180 ° passing from a position commonly called closed in which the leaf or door is a continuation of the upright or wall to which it is connected, to a commonly called open position in which the leaf or door is rotated and placed next to the upright or wall to which it is connected.

Concealed hinges are known which, with the door closed, are not visible from either side of the door.

The concealed hinges comprise two supports, to be fixed respectively to the door and to the upright or fixed panel, and levers connected and hinged to each other and / or to said two supports. These levers, due to their geometry and their constraints, allow the reciprocal rotation of the two supports from a closed position, in which the two supports are substantially adherent and the levers are housed in the two supports themselves, to an open position, in which the two supports are rotated and placed side by side. Depending on the thickness and weight of the door to be supported, the concealed hinges use supports and levers of suitable dimensions.

For doors weighing more than 30 kilograms, hinges with dimensions such as to be difficult to apply on doors or uprights or panels with a minimum thickness of about 30 millimeters are required.

At present there are no known concealed hinges with total opening for doors having a thickness of less than 30 millimeters with a capacity of at least 30 kilograms with 2 hinges and 45 kilograms with 3 hinges.

The subject of the present patent is a new concealed hinge for opening of about 180 ° for doors with a thickness of less than 30 millimeters with a capacity equal to or greater than 30 kilograms.

One purpose of the new hinge is to allow the total opening of the door on which it is applied even if said door has a thickness of less than 30 millimeters. Another purpose of the new hinge is to allow the total opening of the door weighing more than 30 kilograms with minimum effort.

These and other direct and complementary purposes are achieved by the new concealed hinge for total opening comprising, in its main parts:

- two partially recessed supports suitable to be fixed to the rotating leaf and to the upright or wall around which said leaf rotates,

- a pair of substantially symmetrical levers, able to connect said two supports and able to allow the reciprocal rotation of said two supports,

- fastening and / or constraining and / or guiding elements of said levers on said supports, subsequently called fastening elements.

Each support has a box-like shape, comprising a first wall joined to other walls to form a box-like element open on one side.

Basically, this support includes:

- a first wall, substantially rectangular, able to be on the side of the door facing the inside of the piece of furniture or in any case towards a less exposed side of the door,

- a second wall, parallel to said first wall, smaller than said first wall,

- a third wall, perpendicular to said first and second walls and arranged along a longer side of said second wall,

- two fourth walls, orthogonal to said first and second walls, arranged along the opposite smaller sides of said second wall.

The side of said support opposite said third wall is open.

Each support thus constituted is able to be applied on a seat specially made on the edge of the door or on the edge of the upright or wall to which the door is hinged.

For this purpose, each support has holes for the passage of joining elements, such as screws, to the door or to the upright or wall to which it is applied. Said holes for the joining elements are preferably arranged on said third wall of the support, so that said joining elements are generally parallel to the major faces of the door or of the wall on which the new hinge is applied and are not visible once the levismi.

The internal space of the support is adapted to receive said levers and said fastening elements of said levers.

Each fastening element consists of a generically parallelepiped or suitably shaped element, equipped with through holes for its fixing to the support, equipped with through and / or blind holes and grooves for fixing, rotation and sliding of said levers . Each pair of levers is constituted by two elements or arms, generally at an angle, equipped with pins, holes and other elements suitable for the constraint and rotation in said supports and / or said fastening elements, for the constraint and rotation with the corresponding element of the lever, sliding or housing in said supports and / or said fastening elements.

In particular, the mechanics and / or movement of said pairs of levers is substantially the same as the mechanics and movement of the levers of known fully open hinges.

Covering elements are provided, intended to be applied on the open side of each support, suitable for covering the fastening elements and the parts of each support not affected by the movement of the levers.

The characteristics of the new concealed and fully open hinge for wings and doors will be better clarified by the following description with reference to the drawing tables, attached by way of non-limiting example. Figures 1a and 1b show two views of the separate parts of the new hinge, together with portions of a door (A) and a wall (P) to which the door (A) is joined.

Figures 2a, 2b, 2c show respectively a view and two sections of the new hinge, together with portions of a door (A) and of another door or wall (P) to which the door (A) is joined. . In figure 2a the door (A) and the second door or wall (P) are shown in the open position.

Figure 3 shows a horizontal section of the new hinge applied to a leaf (A) and to another leaf, upright or wall (P) arranged in the closed position.

The new concealed hinge for total opening comprising, in its main parts:

- two supports (1) adapted to be fixed to the rotating leaf (A) and to another leaf, upright or wall (P) around which said leaf (A) rotates, - a pair of levers (2.1, 2.2), substantially symmetrical, able to connect said two supports (1) and able to allow the reciprocal rotation of said two supports (1),

- fastening elements (3) of said levers (2.1, 2.2) on said supports (1).

Each support (1) has a box-like shape, comprising a first wall (1.1) joined to other walls (1.2, 1.3, 1.4) to form a box-like element open on one side (1.5).

Two examples of support (1) are shown in Figures 4a, 4b, 4c and 5a, 5b, 5c.

Basically each support (1) includes:

- a first wall (1.1), rectangular, designed to be on the side of the door (A) facing the inside of the cabinet or in any case towards a less exposed side of the door (A),

- a second wall (1.2), parallel to said first wall (1.1), smaller than said first wall (1.1),

- a third wall (1.3), orthogonal to said first (1.1) and second (1.2) walls and arranged along a larger side of said second wall (1.2),

- two fourth walls (1.4), orthogonal to said first (1.1) and second (1.2) wall, arranged along the opposite smaller sides of said second wall (1.2).

The side (1.5) of said support (1) opposite to said third wall (1.3) is open.

Each support (1) thus constituted is able to be housed in a seat (As, Ps), specially made on the edge of the leaf (A) or on the edge of the leaf, upright or wall (P) to which the leaf ( A) is hinged.

In particular, said support (1) is able to be housed in one of said seats (As, Ps), so that the edge of said first wall (1.1) of said support (1) is substantially resting on the surface of the door ( A) or of the upright or wall (P), while the other walls (1.2, 1.3, 1.4) of said support (1) are completely housed in the seat (As, Ps) of said door (A) or of said upright or wall (P).

For this purpose, each support (1) has holes (1.6) for the passage of joining elements, such as screws, to the leaf (A) or to the upright or wall (P) to which it is applied.

These joining elements are no longer visible after the assembly of the levers (2.1. 2.2). The internal position of the joining elements contributes to the substantial reduction in height of each support (1), improving the aesthetic result.

The internal space of the support (1) is adapted to receive and constrain said levers (2.1, 2.2) and said fastening elements (3) of said levers (2.1, 2.2).

Each pair of levers (2.1, 2.2) consists of two elements or arms, generally at an angle, equipped with pins, holes and other elements suitable for constraint and rotation in said supports (1) and / or said fastening elements (3) , to the constraint and rotation with the corresponding element of the lever (2.2, 2.1), to the sliding or housing in said supports (1) and / or said fastening elements (3).

In particular, the mechanics and / or movement of said pairs of levers (2.1, 2.2) is substantially the same as the mechanics and movement of the levers of the known total opening hinges.

There are covering elements (4) suitable to cover the fastening elements (3) and the parts of each support (1) not affected by the movement of the levers (2.1, 2.2).

Figures 6, 7a, 7b show, respectively, the hinge in the fully open position of the leaf (A) with respect to a second leaf, upright or wall (P), a view from the inside or from the less visible position of the new hinge in the closed position of the door (A) with respect to a second door, upright or wall (P), and a view from the outside or from the most visible position of the new hinge in the closed position of the door (A) with respect to a second door , upright or wall (P).

The new hinge, constituted as described above, allows the total opening of the door (A) on which it is applied even if said door (A) has a thickness of less than 30 mm and a weight greater than 30 kilograms with 2 hinges and 45 kilograms with 3 zippers.

The new hinge, in closed position, has no levers visible from the outside or from the inside.

These are the schematic modalities sufficient for the skilled person to realize the invention, consequently, in concrete application there may be variations without prejudice to the substance of the innovative concept.

Therefore, with reference to the preceding description and to the attached table, the following claims are expressed.

CLAIMS 1. Rotation hinge for doors and leaves (A), comprising - two supports (1) adapted to be fixed to appropriate seats (As, Ps) present or made on the edge of the leaf (A) and on the edge of the upright or wall (P) to which the leaf (A) is hinged, - a pair of levers (2.1, 2.2), substantially symmetrical, able to connect said two supports (1) and able to allow the reciprocal rotation of said two supports (1), - fastening elements (3) of said levers (2.1, 2.2) on said supports (1), suitable for fixing, rotation, sliding of said levers (2.1, 2.2) between them and in said supports (1), characterized by the fact that each support (1), able to receive and constrain said levers (2.1, 2.2) and said fixing elements (3) of said levers (2.1, 2.2), is able to be partially embedded in the thickness of the door (A), upright or wall (P) and includes: - a first wall (1.1), preferably rectangular, capable of being exposed and protruding on the side of the door (A) facing the interior of the piece of furniture or in any case towards a less exposed side of the door (A), - a second wall (1.2), parallel to said first wall (1.1), smaller than said first wall (1.1), - a third wall (1.3), orthogonal to said first (1.1) and second (1.2) walls and arranged along a larger side of said second wall (1.2), - two fourth walls (1.4), orthogonal to said first (1.1) and second (1.2) wall, arranged along the opposite smaller sides of said second wall (1.2), and where said second (1.2), third (1.3) and fourth (1.4) walls are designed to be included in the thickness of the leaf (P) or in the thickness of the upright or wall (P) to which the leaf (A) is hinged. 2. Hinge, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that said levers (2.1, 2.2) comprise elements or arms, generally at an angle, equipped with pins (2a), holes (2b) and other elements suitable for constraint and rotation in said supports (1), suitable for the constraint and rotation on said fastening elements (3), for the constraint and rotation with the corresponding element of the lever (2.2, 2.1). 3.
