Lo stendibiancheria illustrato in detti disegni (fig.1) si compone essenzialmente di un cavalletto formato da una coppia di gambe 1 e 2 incernierate fra loro in modo da formare una doppia X. Le gambe 1 e 2 sono composte da due tratti uguali, rispettivamente 1’-1” e 2’-2” collegati fra loro da due cerniere a perno 3. Sulla sommità delle dette gambe 1 -2 viene collegato, per mezzo di due cerniere terminali a perno 4, il telaio orizzontale 5 a forma di griglia.
