La presente invenzione riguarda in generale gli stendibiancheria e si riferisce in particolare ad uno stendibiancheria a cavalletto del tipo ripiegabile, che comprende principalmente: un dispositivo elettrico, tipo termoventilatore, incernierato ad una estremità del telaio superiore ed un braccio a forma di lettera U, incernierato sul lato opposto. Il termoventilatore può essere azionato mediante onde radio da un apparecchio separato, comandato a mano. L’aria fornita dal termoventilatore consente un’asciugatura rapida in ogni condizione ambientale. Una volta ripiegato, lo stendibiancheria presenta uno spessore notevolmente ridotto che consente di riporlo in spazi molto piccoli. Il telaio a U presenta una duplice funzione e precisamente: una prima funzione è di aumentare la superficie utile per stendere i panni; una seconda funzione è quella di trattenere concentrato il flusso d’aria, proveniente dal termoventilatore, quando vengano stesi dei lenzuoli che provocano un effetto barriera. Infatti l’aria colpendo la superficie estesa del lenzuolo, viene trattenuta e costretta a invertire la direzione, potenziandone l’effetto di asciugatura. Lo stendibiancheria illustrato in detti disegni si compone essenzialmente di un cavalletto formato da una coppia di gambe 1 e 2 incernierate fra loro in modo da formare una X. Le gambe 1 sono composte da due tratti uguali, Γ e 1” collegati dalla cerniera 3. Sulla sommità delle dette gambe 1-2 viene collegato per mezzo di cerniere terminali 4 il telaio 5 orizzontale a forma di griglia.
