Abstract
Alcoholic infusion of the red berries of the Sardinian myrtle plant, at 50 degree: 1 kg of berries in 1 litre of 96.6 degree "Buongusto" alcohol. A quantity of 1 litre of the said preparation is mixed in a quantity of 25 litres of the following further preparation: syrup comprising 0.11 litres of water, 0.15 kg of sugar + 0.0015 kg of citric acid + 0.0050 litres of bitter soda extract S + colour as required. 20 cc of syrup are placed in a 100 cc bottle. Refractometric residue = 14%. Carbon dioxide is added.
