Abstract

Antenna e microonde a doppio riflettore offset (fig. 1) classificabile nella famiglia delle ottiche di tipo Gregoriano in grado di realizzare un fascio ellittico con asse maggiore orientato in qualsivoglia direzione dello spazio (fig. 2) mediante una semplice rotazione del sub-riflettore 2 sttorno all'asse 4 di fig. 1. Aggiungendo un'ulteriore movimentazione alla geometria suddetta (traslazione indipendente dello stesso sub-riflettore 2 e/o del riflettore principale 3 lungo gli assi 5 e/o 6) è possibile ottenere una notevole riconfigurabilità nella forma del fascio. In particolare è possibile variare il rapporto tra gli assi del fascio ellittico con una qualunque orientazione degli stessi, allargare gli assi dell'ellisse, oppure ottenere un fascio circolare (fig. 3a, 3b).Tali caratteristiche ne consentono l'impiego come antenne di bordo per satelliti con riuso di polarizzazione in una ambiente operativo con uno o più fasci simultaneamente attivi.L'invenzione può essere classificata come appartenente al campo tecnico delle antenne a microonde ed al campo applicativo delle antenne riconfigurabili da impiegare a bordo di satelliti artificiali o stazioni spaziali oppure in sistemi radar terrestri.
