Abstract

Method for winding wire and wire rod, associated with a winder 10 having an annular channel 14 for the containment, formation and accumulation of the turns 15, and an annular base plate 17, vertically mobile inside said annular channel 14, said winder 10 co-operating with an element 16 for feeding the product to be wound, at the start of the winding cycle the annular base plate 17 being placed in a first raised position 17a, in direct co- operation with the feeder element 16 of the product to be wound, said annular base plate 17, as the winding progresses, being progressively lowered inside the annular channel 14 at a speed at least functionally correlated with the feed speed of the product to be wound and with its nominal diameter, the end-of-winding position 17b of the annular base plate 17 substantially co-operating with the bottom 18 of the annular channel 14, a coil expulsion phase being envisaged with lifting of the annular base plate 17.
