Abstract

E' descritto un procedimento per preparare acidi 7-(?-idrossiacilammino)-3-(1-solfoalchil-tetrazol-5-il-tiometil)-3-cefem-4-carbossilici e i relativi sali, comprendente l'acilazione di un acido 7-ammino-3-(1-solfoalchil-tetrazol-5-il-tiometil)-3-cefem-4-carbossilico con l'opportuno cloruro di un acido ?-formilossi carbossilico, in un mezzo diluente, a pH 6,5-7,0; la deformilazione per trattamento con un acido, a pH compreso fra 1,0 e 1,5; una o più estrazioni con solvente organico della fase acquosa acida proveniente dalla deformilazione, seguita da salatura e da estrazione con un solvente scelto fra tetraidrofurano, metiletilchetone e acetonitrile; l'evaporazione del solvente e la salificazione in ambiente non acquoso.
