Abstract

Il bioreattore- per la produzione di colture di microrganismi fotosintetici o cellule vegetali dispersi in soluzioni nutritive acquose - comprende tubi di reazione (31) sostanzialmente trasparenti alla radiazione solare, sviluppati con inclinazione limitata, per lo più ira 2° e 6°, rispetto all'orizzontale, fra due collettori (35, 43) a livelli diversi; un ugello (36A, 36B) è previsto all'estremità inferiore di ciascun tubo (31) per insufflare in modo alternato aria (od altro) come propellente per fare circolare verso l'alto la coltura oltre che per smaltire gas tossici generati dalle fotoreazioni; parte dei tubi (31) in modo alternato servono per il ritorno della coltura dal collettore superiore (43) a quello inferiore (35); dal collettore superiore (43) si provvede allo smaltimento od all'eventuale recupero del gas insufflato e di quello prodotto dalla coltura.(Fig.3).The bioreactor - for the production of crops of photosynthetic microorganisms or plant cells dispersed in aqueous nutrient solutions - comprises reaction tubes (31) substantially transparent to solar radiation, developed with limited inclination, mostly between 2 ° and 6 °, with respect to horizontal, between two collectors (35, 43) at different levels; a nozzle (36A, 36B) is provided at the lower end of each tube (31) to alternately blow air (or other) as a propellant to circulate the crop upwards as well as to dispose of toxic gases generated by the photoreactions; part of the tubes (31) alternately serve for returning the crop from the upper collector (43) to the lower collector (35); from the upper manifold (43), the insufflated gas and that produced by the culture are disposed of or recovered (Fig. 3).
