Abstract

L'invenzione si riferisce ad un rullo per forni, in particolare per forni siderurgici per il riscaldo di bramme, o simili, il quale rullo è parte di una suola composta da una pluralità di rulli sostanzialmente paralleli tra loro, ed è provvisto di una pluralità di collari anulari (6, 6', 10) (cavalieri anulari) tra loro affiancati e distanziati, essendo i rulli (1) stessi ed i collari anulari (6, 6', 10) raffreddati con un fluido di raffreddamento. Secondo l'invenzione i collari anulari (cavalieri anulari) (6, 6', 10), vengono raffreddati con un flusso di fluido di raffreddamento orientato trasversalmente al loro asse e parallelamente al piano mediano degli stessi. I cavalieri anulari sono realizzati tubolari e possono essere di forma toroidale (6, 6') e sono collegati separatamente ciascuno alla mandata (3) ed al ritorno (2) per il fluido di raffreddamento. Essi possono essere costituiti anche dai singoli avvolgimenti di una spirale tubolare (10) o di più successivi segmenti di spirale che si collegano con le estremità alla mandata (3) ed al ritorno (2).
