Abstract

Una apparecchiatura per formare ed applicare un cavallotto di sigillatura della bocca di un sacco riempito, a partire da una striscia (9) continua di materiale saldabile comprende un primo trasportatore ad anello per lo svolgimento di detta striscia da una bobina di alimentazione ed il trasferimento, con l'ausilio di mezzi di trattenuta (10, 11, 12, 13) e di mezzi di guida (14), su un secondo trasportatore ad anello (15) munito anch'esso di mezzi di trattenuta (21, 22, 23, 24) di detta striscia (9). Tra detti primo e secondo trasportatore (1, 15) sono previsti mezzi di taglio (28, 29) per recidere detta striscia (9) quando il segmento di quest'ultima trasferito su detto secondo trasportatore (15) ha raggiunto una lunghezza prestabilita corrispondente alla larghezza del sacco (31) da sigillare. A detto secondo trasportatore è associato un dispositivo formatore (26) atto, nel corso dell'avanzamento di detta striscia (9), a piegare la striscia stessa secondo una forma sostanzialmente a U rovescia formando così detto cavallotto (32). Detto secondo trasportatore (15) è mobile tra una prima posizione ruotata verso l'alto attorno all'estremità adiacente a detto primo trasportatore (1), corrispondente alla fase di formazione di detto cavallotto (32), ed una posizione orizzontale, corrispondente alla fase di posizionamento di detto cavallotto (32) sulla bocca da chiudere di detto sacco (31), per la successiva fase di saldatura.
