Abstract
In un sistema di scarico di tipo tradizionale per un motore a combustione interna di autoveicolo, una o più tubazioni di collegamento fra i vari elementi attivi del sistema vengono trasformate in modo da poter contribuire alla funzione silenziante e/o di catalisi, il che permette di diminuire il volume dei componenti attivi del sistema (dispositivo catalizzatore, primo e secondo dispositivo silenziatore), lasciando inalterata l'efficacia globale del sistema.(Figura 2).
