Abstract

Il dispositivo comprende un corpo frenante troncoconico (12) a sviluppo circolare continuo sostenuto frontalmente e coassialmente al tamburo (T) del l'apparecchio alimentatore (10) per impegnare il filato (F) che scorre tra detti corpo frenante e tamburo. The braking body (12) is subjected to the electrodynamic action produced by a modulated excitation current (1) circulating in an excitation coil (17) integral with the braking body and interacting with the field of a permanent magnet. The excitation coil (17) is arranged on the braking truncated cone body (12) at the area of the tangent contact with the drum (T) and the magnetic interaction field is produced by an annular magnet (18), substantially toric, arranged facing said coil (17) in correspondence with the external or internal face of the braking truncated cone body (12) (fig. 1).
