E' descritto un metodo per la determinazione della crescita di microorganismi, o della inibizione della crescita, in presenza di una quantità efficace di antibiotico, in funzione delle variazioni di pH nel terreno di coltura e viraggio di un indicatore colorimetrico.Il metodo e il corredo diagnostico (kit) per la sua attuazione sono da utilizzarsi per campioni derivati da fluidi biologici, acqua, scarichi, ecc.
