Abstract

L'elemento di contenimento e raffreddamento (10; 50; 70; 100), applicabile ad arti interessati da traumi che provocano gonfiore, comprende un involucro di contenimento (32, 34; 52; 72) adattabile attorno alla parte di arto interessata. All'interno dell'involucro, a contatto con la parte interessata dell'arto, è previsto un mezzo (84) che consente la circolazione di liquido per raffreddare la parte di arto. L'elemento assumerà la forma più confacente alla parte di arto a cui va applicato. Il liquido di raffreddamento viene raffreddato in un'apparecchiatura ausiliaria (128), preferibilmente portatile, che è collegata ad un generico elemento di contenimento (100) mediante due tubi flessibili, uno di mandata (106) e uno di ritorno (108) per la circolazione del liquido di raffreddamento nell'elemento (100).
