Abstract

Il dispositivo comprende una coppia di pulegge (1, 2) sulle quali si avvolge una cinghia continua (9) e ciascuna delle quali comprende una coppia di dischi conici uno (7) dei quali mobile assialmente rispetto all'altro; il disco mobile (7) di una prima puleggia (2) è spinto da almeno una molla (13) verso l'altro e il disco mobile (7) della seconda puleggia (1) è spinto verso l'altro per azione della forza centrifuga generata dalla rotazione di masse (14); in base all'invenzione il variatore comprende un dispositivo (18) di controllo dello spostamento del disco mobile (7) della seconda puleggia (1) atto ad esercitare sul disco stesso una forza prefissata generata da mezzi elastici (19), il dispositivo suddetto essendo atto ad essere impostato in una pluralità di configurazioni in ciascuna delle quali esso esercita sul disco mobile detta forza prefissata.
