Abstract

E' descritto un metodo per la piegatura controllata di una tubazione (2) durante la sua posa nel mare, che utilizza mezzi di controllo/arresto di piegatura (4-8) che sono montati sulla tubazione come un manicotto e interagiscono con la tubazione. Per ottenere la piegatura a freddo in condizioni controllate, la tubazione (2) è caricata di peso internamente in corrispon-dente della selezionata zona di piegatura. Il carico di peso può essere ottenuto per mezzo di una catena flessibile (17) di pesi e/o mediante introduzione nella tubazione di una massa di peso adeguatamente pesante e in grado di fluire senza à, ad esempio, fluido di perforazione. (Fig.1)
