Um acoplamento hidráulico submarinotendo uma válvula tubular com um atuador se estendendo daválvula, e um guia entre o atuador e o furo. o guia é um elementoem forma de luva em torno do atuador com passagens de fluxo,que garantem um fluxo uniforme de fluido hidráulico pelo aneltubular entre o furo do acoplamento e o atuador. o guia tambémajuda a evitar dano ao atuador e alinha o atuador durante asconexões, desconexões e uso.
