Abstract

Viene descritto un metodo per scaricare gas di combustione da un motore che aziona un aereo a velocità subsoniche e supersoniche. Il motore comprende un ugello di scarico ad area variabile avente alettoni primari e secondari che definiscono rispettivamente un canale generalmente convergente e un canale di scarico per i gas di combustione.
