Abstract

L'invenzione ha per oggetto degli scudi parasismici per proteggere una costruzione civile dagli effetti distruttivi dei movimenti tellurici. Uno scudo secondo l'invenzione, destinato a proteggere una costruzione civile 1, comprende una pluralità di isole puntiformi 2 che sono impiantate nel terreno intorno alla costruzione 1 e che hanno delle proprietà meccaniche differenti da quelle del terreno allo scopo di attenuare le onde sismiche di superficie. Le isole 2 possono essere dei blocchi di terreno compresso fra un ancoraggio conficcato nel terreno e una suola posata sul terreno e collegata al suddetto ancoraggio mediante un mezzo di collegamento messo in tensione. Le isole 2 possono anche essere delle perforazioni o dei pozzi riempiti con materiali granulari o polverulenti. Un'applicazione è la protezione degli impianti industriali o delle abitazioni per evitare le distruzioni dovute ai movimenti tellurici.(Figura 1).
