Abstract
The casing of the electric motor 2 is connected to the casing of the epicyclic variator 3 by means of the connection cover 1, thus forming the direct connection between electric motor and variator. Said connection cover 1 is especially provided with air intakes 4 allowing to pass through them the airflow which is generated by the fan 5 for cooling the electric motor 6 and which also strikes the cooling fins 7 circumferentially arranged on the casing of the variator 3. The particular configuration of the air intakes 4 optimizes the passing movement of the cooling flow. <IMAGE>
