Abstract

The fin (10) has two wings (14,16) extending laterally outwardly from an aerofoil-section main portion (12) of the fin on opposite sides. The wings are situated adjacent the bottom of the main portion, and the wings and the main portion are equally spaced circumferentially. The wings have leading and trailing edges constructed as extensions of a straight leading edge and a curved trailing edge, respectively, of the main portion. The fin is pref. made of plastics by injection moulding.
