Abstract

Described is an aqueous composition for treating fibre material, in particular textile fibres, such as cotton fibres or synthetic fibres, to confer on such fibre material properties such as soft handle (hand) and crease resistance. The composition used is an aqueous emulsion of an organopolysiloxane together with an amino-substituted silane, zinc acetate and triethanolamine titanate.
