Abstract

The length strips of blister packs are separated in a transverse direction to produce separate blister packs. The machine includes a first vertically movable slide support carrying a sheet like separating element and with pressure elements vertically and elastically movable on both sides of the sheet like separating element and having their bearing on the slide support. A second vertically movable slide support with counter pressure elements is located below the pressure elements. There is an actuating mechanism operating the drive of the first and second slide supports alternately so that during the first process stage the length strips are gripped by the pressure and counter pressure elements with subsequently the separating element activated by the elastic force to separate the length strips along the transverse extending break lines.
