Abstract

PURPOSE:To make smooth traveling of recording paper possible by retreating the recording paper at the time of starting recording and printing. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 1 and 3, 2 and 4 are mechanically engaged, and carry recording paper 10 via a recording and printing device 5 to a cutter 6. Next, at the time of resuming recording and printing, the rollers 1 and 2 are reversed to slightly retreat the paper 10, after which recording and printing are carried out. Thereafter, at every starting and stopping of the recording and printing, this operation is repeated. Hence, even if the paper 10 affixes to the cutter 6 and guide plates 7, 8, it is stripped by retreating, and the occurrence of hindrance in its traveling is obviated.
